I just called NASBA to get to know if my score is included in 161 scores and found out mine is not among them. 🙁

He said scores will be released until Dec. 15th.

I took exam on Nov. 7th. I want my score!

Good luck to all of us.

Haha!! Thanks. 🙂 Trust me, it was NOT easy, I would never say I'm just that good, I studied my you-know-what off. Not sure why…nobody will ever ask me again what scores I got!

Best of luck to you guys, I know the feeling of having to wait, wait, wait. NASBA lost 3 different copies of my final transcripts earlier in the year, and because of it I had to wait an extra month and a half for my FAR score. Plus it was my first test so I had no clue what to expect. I thought I was gonna go postal!

Regarding the scoring of the written communication part, this is from the official “The Uniform CPA Examination” site at: https://www.cpa-exam.org/cpa/written_communic.html:

“Only those writing samples that are generally responsive to the topic will be graded. If your response is off-topic, or offers advice that is clearly illegal, you will not receive any credit for the response.

Constructed responses will be scored holistically. Scores will be based on three general writing criteria: Organization, Development, and Expression.”

Sounds like they do want you to answer on topic, albeit only ‘generally responsive.'

i have also been told the accuracy of your response is not nearly as important as the writing. if you receive a communication you are clueless about, simply restate what they are asking in your response, and that should satisfy being “on topic” so that your response will be graded.

Any Reg scores in NH? Did you receive yours by mail or on the NASBA website?

So it sounds like the rest of us waiting will be in Wave 2? Any additional CA scores released since Friday morning?

    Caligirl –

I hope there's wave 1.75. That would be nice! I'm in california also. Maybe since our state is bankrupt they don't really care about updating CPA scores. Poor us… I mean literally, we're poor.

    AUD - 86, FAR - 78, BEC - 79 (but it's been over 18 months), REG - 72 (7/6/2009), 78(10/24/2009)

I'm so glad that NASBA turns on their auto voicemail before 4:30 when it says their hours are from 7 – 4:30… stupidheads

I guess I am in Wave 2. I took the exam on 10/07. So, I guess I am somewhere in “gray” area and they want to compare my exam with more exams in November to see if they can give me a passing score. That is nice of them. At least I know I have a chance, I think. I hope to get my passing score.

Dear NASBA and AICPA and Examiners:

Please take your time as mush as you wish. Please just give me my sweet 75. Pleaseeeeee!!!!!!!!! I will patiently wait.

Thank you for being fair. I believe in your fairness.

Guys, Do I have this right. I took my exam 10/16. I have not gotten my score. So I either got a new simulation or I am borderline and psychometrics may need to be applied to the scoring. Putting me in wave 2. Is this correct?

I also appear to be a Wave 2er. What is sad is that at some point intelligent people walked into a meeting, said “3 or so months is perfectly fine to let someone wait to get the score back from an online test in the year 2009. That is not ridiculous at all” and then walked out of the meeting thinking they accomplished something.

Haha well put Flyers09, some much needed humor during study time.
