    cc_cpa,

I used Becker and nothing else to pass REG. The first time through the MC, I ranged from a 66-82% on the lessons. I went through all MC again the week before the exam and ranged from 82-96%, but still only got about a 70 and a 75 on the practice exams. I passed last night with a 95!! You said you passed the other sections with Becker.. what were you looking like in practice exams and MC for FAR and what did you pass with?

    REG-95, FAR-91, BEC-85, AUD-2/24/10

i have averaged MC part 90-100% when practicing. MC part is easy anyway. But SIM part really sucked! too many tabs and too many things to do in a short time.!

Jeff I have a question for you.

When Wave 1 people are pushed back to Wave 2, what happens then? I mean how does that affect the scoring system and scores?

I just wanted to share my excitement with everyone: I got my passing score of 92 for REG last night! It was a stressful evening of no internet access so I wasn't able to check Nasba, let alone the forum to see if scores were out, so I had to call my husband and have him look for me. And of course he had to mess with me before giving me the good news! Anyway, 3 down, 1 to go! Congrats and best of luck to the rest of you! (Especially you, lilysmommy! I know you rocked it and we'll rock BEC next week too!)

for everyone who didnt get thier score, and are still studying for another part – –

i took REG on 10/6. i felt better than i have ever felt coming out (it was my 7th exam, and i havent taken far yet..) I had been counting down the days until i got my score, and it never came. i called NASBA multiple times and got the same answer everytime (they dont have my score…) i was checking NASBA literally every 15 minutes, and it was really distracting me from studying for FAR, which is 11/25…I finaly came to terms that it wasnt coming and since then my practice MCQ scores have gone up like 15%…so here is my advice – let it go!!

keep studying for the other parts..you dont want to let worry about soemthing you have NO control over effect ur studying for soemthing you do have control over. trust me, if i passed REG, FAR is my LAST test, so i get it..but after talking to Jeff (i am a club 75 member..which i also recomend) it is best to let it go and just focus..

good luck to all those taking tests next week…and congrats to those who passed!!

    soon CPA,

I honestly don't remember how my simulations were- I tried to put it out of my mind right away so I could focus on FAR. The only part I do remember is getting a written communication prompt that I had NO idea how to write with 8 minutes left. Overall I guess they were fairly normal, or else I'm sure I would remember more clearly if they were brutal. I did practice all the simulations with Becker, so I knew what kind of things to expect. As for the 95, I am more blown away than anyone. I wasn't even sure I was going to pass and now I'm thinking I obsessed a little to much..

Just got my score in Illinois this morning… 74… When people say that would have rather gotten a 54, 65, or anything less than 74, they aren't kidding… the feeling is awful…

It almost makes you want to drive to your state board pay the $500 fee to review your exam and beg for one point…

I will say this though… I felt like I did OK on the MCQ and bombed the SIMs… so I guess now, because I'll be taking this exam again in January… if I can just go in there and feel OK or Good about the MCQ and improve on the SIMs just a little… that may do the trick…

In any case, congrats to all those that passed… If you didn't pass, don't quit… you'll regret that for the rest of your life… don't let this beast of a BS exam have the last word…

    ? AUD - 87 (8/12/09)
    ? REG - 77 (1/15/10
    ? BEC - 77 (1/6/09 - Expired) / 79 (11/18/10)
    ? FAR - 75 (2/11/11)

Anyone know why my score would not be posted online. I took the exam 10/10 and on NASBA website it says my score has been received, and I should receive my score by mail.

    ihavecpaocd,

Thanks. For FAR I was actually only scoring around 70% on the homework and the practice exams were in the 60% range. I passed first time with an 80. There is just so much info! Focus a good part of your time doing M/C for chapters 8 and 9. It is tested heavy in M/C. I really think that helped me a lot. Awesome job on REG. If you need to, keep in touch.

    cc_cpa,

I also was scoring in the 60s and 70s on the practice exam for reg and just got my grade yesterday as a 91! Leaving the exam I thought I did ok maybe in the high 70's but nothing near 91. I am hoping it is not a typo actually haha. If you are doing in the 70s on the practice exam, then you are in good shape.
