    Jeff and/or others:

Took on 10/15 in MI, no scores yet. What is more annoying is coworker took on 10/30 and received her passing scores last night. I know its irrational but I was already having a bad feeling about this test and now I think it is definitely hopeless. My question is if the scores are not curved as the AICPA says, what would having a new sim have to do with anything? Why would they have to wait until all other new candidates with new sims results come in?

It is so hard to stay motivated for BEC in 1.5 weeks. Plus it would have been nice to know my results of REG so I could have started studying again right away versus wasting three weeks waiting for my scores.

I think this test is for sure curved. I do not care what AICPA says, but there is no way that I got the mark I did without the bell-curve.

Anne – I am in NJ and got my score last night.

86! and i am now finally done with the exam! Jeff, thank you so much for this website. it has been by far the best resource that I have had for the CPA exam. and i am including my study materials in that. in no way would i have been as prepared for the exam as i was without this exam. i also think i would have gone insane without your constant updates of scoring releases and procedures. if there is anything you need, please let me know. you have given so much time and energy to helping out candidates like myself, that I feel like i owe you a great deal.

to all of you just beginning or deep within this draining process, keep your heads up (or buried in your study materials) and never, never, never give up (Winston Churchill said that, I think)! if I can do it, anyone can. congrats to those who passed and good luck everyone on this journey!

No score for me in Florida. Looks like i should be adding a passing REG score as what Santa needs to bring me for Christmas in the wave two results….

Hello for those of you waiting on your scores, did you think the exam was easy and think you passed, or do you think it was very difficult and aren't sure?

If you're confident, then waiting for your score doesn't matter since you believe you passed?

I'm taking REG on Nov. 29, just wondering what you people think…..

TampaAccountant: That was the first section I took and thought I did horrible. Was I prepared? Yes probably over prepared. I went in and finished the MC and felt pretty good. I then started the simulations and fell apart. The first simulation was on something that Becker specifically stated was RARELY tested! I had gone over that material but wasn't comfortable. I then ran out of time and Barely finished my second simulation…..I mean I wrote sentence in my memo stating that if they wanted more details about the situation we should set up an appointment to go over it. lol From the moment I left the test center I was depressed and determined I had failed……but I found out last night I got an 88%. I guess I did really well on the MC. Sorry for the long story, but I guess you never know how you are going to do. I could be confident the next time and fail…..but hopefully I will keep on a good path. Goodluck! I have Audit Monday! ugh!

CPASeminole congrats with REG! I appreciate your assesment of your exam experience. And good luck with AUD, I failed that exam in Aug.'09 with a 70. It's a super tricky exam, I finished early and thought I scored a 99….lol

I got my score last night (86) left the test center absolutely convinced I had failed. Had several unrelated tabs in the Sims including both written components for which I was not prepared. It was a great surprise to pass! Now just waiting on FAR (I guess I've been pushed to Wave 2 which makes me exceptionally nervous) and taking AUD Monday. Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear.

well this tampa accountant didn't feel to confident much like CPASeminole. i also used Becker and have been stressing. i was hoping to find out my score so i would know one way or another incase i needed to reschedule for Jan. This next month would have been a good time to go through studying REG again since i already passed audit, just took BEC and am not starting Becker review until Jan 2nd for FAR. Oh well. Here is to wishful thinking??? time to drink it off over college football saturday. GO USF! Bulls homecoming game at noon.

Congrats bkweasel7, 99, that's kick ass! I bet you walked-out of the test center knowing you passed for sure! You're a brain with a 99 and shouldn't have even worried…..

    Congrats everyone!

For those that came up short – I was there once too…two 74s on REG in a row and lost my FAR credit. I overcame it and am a CPA today…you will overcome it too!

I have a question for those of you that passed REG using Becker. What was your average % on the M/C using Becker and what was your passing score. I am averaging around 80% on all topics. Most of the material I fully understand. There is a small amount of questions that I just know how to answer because the way they ask the question. Any advice would be helpful. I have passed the other 3 sections using Becker and am more than willing to give advice in return. Thanks and good luck to everyone.

Thanks Jeff. That's good to know. I felt bad about failing my first test, first time. I expected to fail at least one section, but thought I would at least pass the first one.

    I'll Pass Eventually
    REG (67, 66), BEC (79), FAR (5/26/10), AUD (August 2010)
