    Hii!!

Did anyone had an easier second testlet and still passed? Took BEC on the 23rd and my second testlet was easier. I need to pass is my last one!

@Mcast126, I wouldn't worry about it to much. I never had a noticeably harder second testlet on any of the ones I've passed. I just took AUD though and the 2nd testlet was huge jump in difficulty.

I've been procrastinating on this post. In part, because being done is still somewhat surreal. On the other hand, I'm not sure if I can word exactly how triumphant it feels. So, I'll use #'s.

980 miles; distance I moved from home to a state that was more open to the idea of licensing an ex felon.

15 years: from the time I completed my B.S. until now.

6: number of kids and grandkids and adult stepchild sharing a 3 bedroom house when I first began studying.

50%: discount I received on Becker review through scholarship.

2x: number of Becker extensions I needed to complete all 4 parts.

    4x: to pass FAR successfully.

    3 for 3: passing other 3 sections.

6K: approximate $ spent on exam fees and Becker review.

1st and the Last: One of Jesus'alias, and whom I give all glory and honor too.

I never thought I would make it to this board after failing AUD with a 70 the first time. However, after 2 yrs I am finally finished with the CPA exam after passing BEC with a 89. To all those who are still taking the exam, do not give up and keep going.

About a year from the start of studying and I am finally done! 94 on BEC to finish it off. For everyone who hits a roadblock or loses motivation, you can pass these exams with determination, sacrifice, and hard work. Also don’t pay too much attention to the Becker mock exams, they don’t always indicate how you’ll do on the actual exam. Good luck to all those still taking exams. It’ll be over before you know it!

I am done! 5 years of school, 2 years of studying while working, 2 sections failed and retaken. I found out yesterday I improved my score 10 points on REG after a month of studying using only Ninja.

I am already planning my celebratory motorcycle rides with my newfound free time.

    Congrats to everyone that's done!

So thrilled to finally be able to comment on this thread!! Passed AUD with an 82!
For those reading this forum for encouragement (which I often did throughout the journey!): beginning to study for each exam, I felt like I was at the bottom trying to climb a mountain. Be patient with yourself and take it a day at a time – your hardwork will pay off and the material will begin to make sense!

Top two pieces of advice to pass on the first try:
    (1) Write down WHY you got any MCQ or Sim wrong to solidify your understanding of the correct answer
    (2) Especially for REG and FAR, write out step-by-step cheat sheets of how to solve problems (ex: step 1-2-3 for like-kind exchanges, percentage completion, etc) so when you're faced with the problem on Test Day, you'll methodically know how to solve for and not make mistakes! Woot!

Again congrats to all who are officially done!! We made it!!

I am in shock. I started this process 25 years ago before I had my kids and put it on hold. I watched my mom go through the CPA exam in the 1980s and have always revered CPAs.
Now, after 18 months of studying, I am done with all four sections of the CPA exam on the first try while taking classes, parenting two teen boys and life happened…water heater died and flooded my office, car died, flat tire on car, sicknesses and family emergencies, etc. I listened to Jeff's audio tapes while I drove in the car and spent countless hours listening to Becker lectures. I am thankful for the another71 community…I knew I was never alone in this journey. Now I just need to complete five more classes and get a job!

I took my first exam seven years ago next month, and today I'm finally DONE! I thought I'd be a lot more excited to be done, but I honestly didn't think I passed this last exam (study schedule got way off track and I really hadn't studied as much as I needed to) so I'm more just in shock.

Hallelujah, praise the Lord! I am done! I failed FAR twice and thought it was impossible, but here I am today with a passing score and no more studying ahead of me! Yayyyy!!!!!!
I began this studying process a year and a half ago. I took my first exam April 2018. After all this time, I am beyond ecstatic to finally be able to say I am FINISHED!!! This is the hardest thing I have ever done, and I did it! I worked my butt off, and it was honestly not fun, but it was all worth it. I have lost all concept of what free time is supposed to be besides studying, so I am going to go find out! Congratulations to everyone else who is done! Good luck to everyone still working at it, I know you can do it! And again, thank you God!
