I usually start by googling questions I was unsure about (which doesn’t help). Then I check work email, and finally turn on the TV. I can’t remember when I watched TV without feeling guilty

    Audit Passed
    FAR Passed
    REG Passed
    BEC ??

Last time i took reg went straight to the bar and got cut off.

Lesson: don't go to that bar anymore after exams

I LOVE this thread. Much like mparker, I ordered a Papa John's large extra cheese pizza, at half of it, bathed myself in the garlic butter, and laid in bed and watched HGTV–because nothing is quite as mindless as watching House Hunters & House Hunters International.

I always do the mexican/margarita thing too. It's a reward and a stress reliever, and hopefully a celebration of having another section down.

    AUD - 88
    FAR - 90
    REG - 85
    BEC - 88

@CPA628 You are encouraging me to do it with BEC now šŸ˜› > šŸ˜€ >

Hahaha šŸ˜€ > No i'm just kidding … It needs alot of hard work … well … to tell u truth … the issue is not passing the CPA … the issue is being competent enough to know that stuff when you are in the field … of course it would be much better if u know the stuff after passing the cpa …

You dont want to embarrass yourself after passing the CPA … so i would say … STUDY hard and Work HARD and Pass it … I am not very happy about my knowledge in FAR and will hit that book again as soon as i am done with bec and reg ! Wish me luck ! and Know that it is doable man ! Good luck !

if u reply i can give u my email and i can tell u more about my experience šŸ™‚

YES, give me your e-mail id. I'll shoot you a message!!

And I don't think anyone really remembers everything they've studied after passing the exams (no matter how long they studied for), so don't feel bad about that…

Well. I drink my face off.

Ok, not quite because I usually have to work the next day.

But I do go out to dinner with my boyfriend, get some drinks, and invite my friends out to the bar. I am young, have no obligations besides my job in public accounting and live in downtown sacramento, where it's always popping – so these things are somewhat necessary. Since I haven't been so successful with these exams, I have started to keep my reasons for outings a little more private.

I usually take the next 4 days or so off to catch up on time with friends and do some of the things that were building on my to-do list. Those 4 days are sacred to me.

I'm really excited to get this exam on Tuesday over with, as I will be going away for the weekend and it will be nice to not feel a tiny bit of guilt for it!

    B 71 - 79 EXPIRED
    A 69 - 75 EXPIRED
    R 65 - 48 - 45
    F 56 - 61 - 65 - 64

Still need 30 more credits, in basket weaving (gotta love new CA requirements)

If I pass all 4 sections of the CPA and finally work out my CMA issues AND get my MBA totally completed before the end of September I am going to take the entire month of October and head to Costa rica and hang out on the beach. A months worth of vacation keeps me motivated to keep studying.
