We are not allowed to disclose what the exam was about.

Even if you knew exactly what my test was it wouldn't do you any good. All the material is fair game. You can get a bit from everything.

    AUD - 81, BEC - 74, 80, FAR - 82, REG - 81
    Done!

Just thought I would give everyone a laugh………..as I continue this studying journey (nearly 10 months in to it)…..I am realizing that it is having an effect on my kids………so much so that when I tell my 3-year old it's time for bed, she quickly grabs her notebook and highlighter and says “…But Mom, I have to study!” and tries to perch herself next to me on the couch. Can't wait for this to be over!

ChayFayCPA – gotta love that! My kids get so excited each time I pass – I think it's because they know the END of it all is getting closer, and my 12 year old and 10 year old want more computer time! My 5 year old daughter has started saying “mom is gonna kick some CPA butt!” I hope she's right!!

Connie: I know……….it's nice have your own little pep squad! When I got my passing REG score in Feb, my son wrote me a note that said “I am proud of you! Awsome! Banner Roll!” I think that'll have to be framed right next to my certificate once I get it!! We have whooped and hollered with each passing score! It has definitely been an experience for all! Best wishes to you! Have you scheduled FAR?

Great story thanks for sharing. No kids here – but I share custody of a cat with my brother. Toby would come sit on my Becker book while I tried to study. Sprawled across the textbook, or just rubbed her forward against mine. Guess it was time to stop studying and give her a pet. I miss her. She has gone back to my brother's place.

CPA Journey: There have been times during the whole process that I have felt alienated from even the simple things in life…….so those moments when someone (or in your case, your cat) demands attention, it really drives home just how consumed we are by the process! When do you take FAR? End of the month is my first time under CBT. I took it years back when it was paper and pencil!

When I found out I passed REG, everyone in my house was asleep so I decided to wake up my 9 year old. I was crying with joy and, at first, it scared him. Then he smiled so big and went back to sleep.

If I ever pass FAR I am waking everyone in the whole house. They will be just as happy as me to be done with The Beast.

I'm about to start the Final Review.

    13 more days…

FAR is scheduled for Aug 31st – hope my brain can hold all the information. There is a lot of information. Sometimes I wonder if the memory banks are getting close to capacity. It will be good to see hoe beastly the Beast will be.

Yes, ,I miss my study buddy. She is a good cat. 11 lbs of pure regal feline – she rules the house of course!

    Good luck!

I'm pulling for everyone too. I like to keep up with all the forum's “regulars”.

For those taking FAR, it is a tough but fair exam. Don't let my score fool you. I wasn't prepared well enough and didn't expect to pass. There are some crazy topics you will probably have never seen but just stick to your study guides and do as many problems as you can. The real exam isn't as complex.

My strategy is to not mark questions for review and to save at least 2 hours to complete the two simulations. I panicked at the sims the first time so I know I need plenty of time to digest them.

When I got my first passing score, I believe my husband was more excited than me…..he understands what a struggle it is for me w/the kids. (He knows he couldn't do it).

My goal (hopfully) is to be done completely by Halloween. That goal even allows for a quick retake of FAR in October if I don't pass the first time.

Which of course, I have every intention of passing the first time…..but Good Gravy, it is sooo much information. I am FINALLY on DVD 11 of 14 in Yaeger….but am SO sick of studying!

Hi Everyone: I've seen some great stories so I wanted to share mine.. I've been in this journey for three years however I honestly admit that I wasn't committed & dedicated to study. I took a leave of absence of four months after April 15th this year and decided to give everything I got. I studied for five weeks for BEC & AUD & took both exams on the same day..

When I received those passing scores I called my parents crying (I'm Single w. No Kids). I've never felt so proud of myself.. Foll of you who have gone thru this process w. Families, kids and a job you have my most sincere respects..

I take FAR on July 12, and right know I feel burned out. Haven't been able to grab the books today & I'm starting to feel guilty for not studying today specially when I have only four more days!

I've done various progress test and scoring between 68 – 73. I feel like I know a little bit about everything but I dont have the confidence.

Let HOPE for a better day tomorrow!!!

    Laly
