I'm still stumped on whether the “scores in process” thing means I passed or not. It obviously doesn't mean I failed, which is good, but has anyone actually checked and gotten a failed FAR score (through the loophole)?
Gulfmj, you're not going to get a failedscore through the loophole. Normally, if a person fails (and their scores have been received and processed by NASBA) they are able to re-register for the section.
Ok that's it! I will check nasba's twitter tonight to see if batch 2 comes out with REG but other than that, I am not checking the forum till end of the month. I'm so far behind w my BEC studies, it's not even funny. THIS WAIT IS CRAP! DID I SAY THIS WAIT IS CRAP? IT'S 21ST CENTURY PEOPLE. How could I take my exam in July and not be in wave 1? On top of that VA needs to fix their system already, I don't wanna be calling for my score everytime and just hear that they don't have mine. Anyway, good luck everyone who is still waiting and congrats to those who passed! I LOVE AICPA.
Yeah, big shot cpa, this is INSANE that it takes this long to grade tests and post. What the hell are we paying for? For the joy of taking these tests? You'd think they'd have set up an efficient way to grade and post the scores (and come on, even with 20,000 scores it should take 2 minutes to post in this day and age)…I think if they took 10 people from this forum, we could get the grades from the AICPA and post it within a couple hours tops, not 24-48.
Im from NY and the loophole works if you get the page where you have to put in your information, put it in and submit, then see if the exam you are waiting for is greyed out or not, if its not then you prob failed
@CPAWannaBe – do you think that they have your score even though they said they didn't? i'm starting to think the people we talk to aren't really in a position to know whether or not they have our scores.
@keepon – I actually talked to someone who told me they had my score this morning… but that was the 2nd person I talked to the first one said I would have it before the end of September and then hung up…. You just need to get a good person….
GULFMJ- there have been a couple people who became unable to register, so *if* they have your score in process the loophole should be accurate at this point.
FAR is grayed out for me in the loophole… so apparently I'm EITHER in wave 2 (***sigh***) or…. I passed??? LOL i wish I hadn't checked since you really have no way of knowing if it's grayed out cause they don't have anything from you yet or if they have a passing score. Though I do feel better I'm not able to register again YET. LOL
