I could not figure out my research tab in my second sim during my FAR exam.

I had 45 minutes left, so I used all of them, browsed many topics, tried many keywords, nothing!

Nothing that I was reasonably sure about it.

When I had 2 minutes left, I just picked the one that talked about the issue the most. But not even close to be convinced.

It's weird because the one in the first sim was a slam-dunk and so were the two in the AUD exam.

Oh well, maybe it's a new sim and won't be graded (also, the WC part was very abstract and I mixed a good amount of BS with a good amount of nonsense and I really hope it's the one that is not being graded).

@Italian – research is worth 1-2 points at most. It's not worth 45 minutes of your time. As long as you didn't short-change the other tabs, then don't sweat it. The communication tab is worth far more.

I was done with the rest of the exam, it was the research tab on my last sim and I was done with the sim.

I really tried to find it, but nothing….

@robamartin – I thought the same thing when I tried the practice research exam! I got sooo nervous about those 1-2 points because I'll take all the “free-bee” points I can get. When I got into the FAR exam, both of my sim sections had a research function that was much more similar to the becker – could get to all of the SFASs and not just the authoritative literature section. I would highly recommend practicing the becker research tabs (if you are using becker).. you'll feel prepared for that part at least! 😉
