MPoni – I'm glad you decided to stay with your 8/31 test date. I feel like I could use more time too, but I'm not sure if I would ever really feel ready for this exam! I figure I'll still have the last quarter to take FAR again if I need it.

I started reviewing yesterday and got very frustrated because I totally forgot some of the concepts from the earlier chapters. So I regrouped and am back at it today. Only four days left until my exam. I wish I could have scheduled for the 30th or 31st to have the extra weekend, but my 3 kiddos start school on Monday so I'm going to be caught up in that. I have one going into Jr. High and my little one going into Kindergarten….that's enough stress for me for that day! LOL

Study hard everyone! Let's make this week count!

If FAR is being released today, the AICPA usually does it around this time, right? Like 12:30-1ish?

Well, I holding on to hope too! Leaving shortly to go out to a client's office and won't be able to keep checking this site. I actually signed up to follow NASBA on Twitter and get there updates via text to my cell. That way, I will get a text once NASBA tweets about AICPA release! I can't stand the wait. It's gotta be today!!

Connie!! Ya I mean how ready can we be for this exam anyway? I still feel that I could know 100% of the material, but some of the MCQs and Sims will have some slight twist in the question that I won't understand lol.

I think a part of my procrastination is because I know there is so much material and reviewing it will be a nightmare 🙁 Plus doing all the MCQs takes soo long!

Wow jr. high and kindergarten! That is a big deal! I hope your exam goes well! 4 days is very soon…good luck with it and please let us know how you make out! 🙂 Enjoy the new school year!

I took FAR on August 9. I am in Mississippi (independent state). Is there a chance I fell in the first wave?

Possibly. I think some BEC people who took the exam on the 12th fell into Wave 1.

jrsmith – I took Reg on the 10th day in the last window and still made it. I've also seen some people with BEC/AUD test dates of the 9th, and they received theirs. Assuming you didn't have a new simulation, you stand a decent chance.

I can't believe am pounding the last of the MCQ's for chapter 9 becker review at my desk at work. My boss is on vacation for this whole week so I have a little time to squeeze in between my breaks for some reviews since am not that busy.

Hopefully by tonight I can start the final review for the chapters I found very intimidating eg 3,4,5,6,7. These chapters give me the gitters…and shaking in my boots…

I challenge you guys to go to the AICPA website and go to the practice exam and try to do the research portion of the simulation. I literally can't do it. It will not take me to the authoritative literature so I can answer the question. This is the problem I had when I took the exam 8/11 and I'm still having the problem on the practice exam. If you answer it successfully, please post and let me know. Also, let me know if you had problems with it like I am having. If you are taking financial in the future, you might want to check this out. Everyone in the office I have showed this to has been confused and unable to answer the question. (And yes, I know that research does not count for much).
