italianCPA I have my trails I go through in Topanga Canyon but thats once in while I love surfing personally and can't wait to go to ocean after my FAR exam next week. After that I start off with REG and end with BEC for this year.

I have a feeling AICPA will release FAR today, based on the last window:

First wave (Q2):

cpawannabe – if your predictions are right then i think im gonna shut off myself off technology (internet/wifi etc) for next 24-48 hrs so i only have to log onto my state board site once and not multiple times a day. NERVOUS TIME!!

Anyone out there a MD CPA-er? Is it true they send you an email when you score is ready..?! I feel silly clicking the link 100 times a day if that is the case.. although I guess I will be checking my email just as obsessively…

hello everybody. good luck to everybody who is waiting for a FAR score! anybody out there who is sitting for FAR at the end of the month?

i have 2.5 hours of lecture to finish up with Yaeger…and then review time. Do you guys think that is enough time to review? I was almost debating pushing the exam off till Oct (when my NTS expires), but I think I am just being lazy right now. I will have to study in Sept if I do that….just not sure if 1 week is enough to cram all this BS into my head. I do have the week off from work, which helps. I am still riding high on passing BEC and being 3 done!

What do you guys think?

Definitely take the exam on the 31st! 1 week review should be ok! Not ideal, but ok! If you push it to oct, you'll forget everything.

I agree. I don't think you should let a window slip by without at least trying. That's what I did in May (when I got a 64). I knew I wasn't ready but it was great practice.

thanks for the advice guys! 🙂 I will stick with the 8/31 test date. That way it gives me two chances (this one and Oct/Nov) testing window) to take FAR before it changes in 2011.

MPoni123—-I agree with everyone….keep the 8/31. The bonus is you having work off. I took only the 2 days off prior to my test date (8/20) and felt really good about it, so 5 extra days should be that much better! Good luck! You can do it!

Thanks whitem12003 – I can't wait until Sept 1…because pass or fail I will at least have the month of Sept to work and do nothing else!! I won't even bother reviewing any of my FAR notes because that is torture lol. I will finish up the lectures today and then start reviewing and doing the MCQs.
