Thank you astrong – I used Becker for REG and AUD and I felt pretty confident going into the REG exam. I know people hate when others say this, but I honestly thought I had failed when I walked outta there. My MCQs were ridiculously hard and my simulations were OUT OF CONTROL!! I think at that time I didn't realize that if the testlets get harder as you go along…it's a good sign. I was also able to finish the exam with about 2 minutes to spare, so I think that helped as well! I am not sure how many people finish the REG exam.

Another thing – I also didn't realize that 5 questions per testlet were pretest because some of my questions were way out there. I know all exams are different and I took my exam in November 2009, but my exam focused more on tax topics as opposed to business law stuff. I mean definitely know as much as you can. I think Phil Yaeger says that individual tax isn't tested AS MUCH…and I would definitely recommend knowing corporate tax.
