    Robamartin – I had a similar experience. The time constraints killed me–with both Reg and Bec I had ample time left over & that's with reviewing, FAR was completely different in that respect.

    For the second wave–I took my exam today, so I assume I fall in the second wave–when do we anticipate scores being released?

    I know their are about 1,000 posts dedicated to this but I'd like some feedback. I take FAR monday. I just took one of the simulated “review” tests and included questions from all chapters (100 MC) and got 70 correct. How does that put me in terms of being prepared for this exam? This is my last one and I cannot wait to be finished.

    So when are the FAR scores supposed to be released? Having trouble finding the predictions.

    What study material are you using? Many people have indicated their actual exam score was 10 – 15 points hugher than what they made on the Becker Final Exams. The Becker Final exams are tougher than the real test is a common comment many have made. So if you are using Becker – sounds like you are in good shape.

    Hi! First time posting…

    I took FAR in Feb this year but got a 64 – I didn't give myself enough time to do ANY sort of review and practice MCQ's in a timed environment. I'm scheduled to retake FAR on 8/30 and am using only Gleim's book and questions and have about 95% more material to go over. I can study about 35-40 hours a week. Should I push my test back to Oct or keep it for Aug? If I should keep it scheduled for Aug, does anyone have any advice? Should I purchase a cram thing instead? Or should I just go over all the questions?

    THANKS!!!

    @bigben

    Wave 1 should be released on Aug 22, so you should be able to see your score a day or 2 later. This is just a prediction tho. Can't wait for my score.

    Once you do both the Progress Test and a Final Exam – that should give you a good feel for where you are. If there are weak areas – read the text and do those MCQ again. I look at each wrong answer and try to determine why I got it wrong.

    Sounds like you are on track. Just spend the weekend doing targeted fine tunning on the areas where you can pick up points.

    Good luck for Monday!

    @IRS Guy, hey, I'm in the same situation than you but using Roger and Wiley, I take the exam on 08/23 and I have gone over the MC's twice, I took the sample test of 90 MC's and got a 75. I think I'll do more MC's on the ones I got wrong and read sims and communications answers.

    @The roz,

    it took me 10 weeks to get ready for this test vs. 4 for audit, 5 for bec and 8 for reg ( I work full time and have a kid and a wife)….you need to gauge your available time and dedication…In the other hand, you are already familiar with the material since you took the test already once….I think I would reschedule and master the material….but is up to you and your level of confidence…

    I am really dragging with studying the past few days. I've been over the questions 2-3 times each, and over the supplementals twice each. I'm going back and doing my “marked” MCQs, and I'm forgetting a lot of information which is really frustrating. I'm also fretting over my REG score/score release, which hasn't helped matters.

    Good luck. As you can see, I'm also scheduled to take the exam on 8/31; I just hope the next few weeks are productive and that the Final Review product I purchased will help me salvage few extra points on exam day (I haven't used one of these products, yet).

    Hi Everyone, if you have taken FAR and used Becker.. I would like to know you're opinion about the Final Exams compared to the actual exam. I am taking FAR on Monday. I just took the first final exam and my scores on the three testlets were 50, 63, 66. Some answers I got wrong because I did not pay close enough attention to dates (I do this often.. I will make sure to pay attention to all dates on the exam), but others I just clearly did not know.

    Did you feel that the type of questions in the final exams were similar in difficulty and weighted in the same amount of topics as the exam?

    This is my last test. I have used Becker for the other three and have passed. For BEC, I thought the final exam was slightly easier than the actual exam. I thought AUD was pretty similar to the actual exam, and REG seemed way harder than the actual exam.

    The rest of the day today I plan on doing all of the non-for-profit and governmental MCQs again. Tomorrow I plan on doing the second final exam, then as many progress tests/simulated exams as I can handle. Then, just as an overall review I will glancing over the whole book again and review of the note cards before bed.

    Thanks in advance- I appreciate any and all feedback about the final exams vs. actual test.

    Just got done taking final exam #2. Scores 50, 53, 46. Not looking good. I'm going to go over the areas that I missed questions on. Primarily governmental/pensions. Any thoughts?
