Are you going to check your BEC score before taking FAR – I am hoping to avaid looking at the score – pass or fail either way it is going to be distracting.
i am going to check it the MOMENT the score comes out lol. i HAVE to. there is no way i will be able to wait until after FAR because i think that will be even more distracting to me than if i waited.

Last time I was checking for days before the resultsactually posted. This time I think I will wait. Did not get much done last time and the scores were pretty late. After I finish FAR I will check. Most likely – I will have to stay away from this site lol. Starting next week we will be a fever pitch to see those score lol
cpa journey – thank you! good luck to you as well! 🙂 i always just rely on this site to find out when the AICPA releasedscores to NASBA. it is usually a day after that when scores become available to us. i can't stay away from this site lol it gives me motivation and makes me feel like i am not suffering through this nightmare alone. obviously your family/friends only understand to a certain extent. everybody here understands 100%!!

I too am not planning to check my score for FAR untill I take REG on 08/31. If I could see my score in the next 4-6 days I would, but I have a feeling that I'll get to see it (if I want to) just 2-3 days before the REG exam…and that, I am not sure is a good idea… That constant waiting each day definitely takes a toll on you, and as you say it's a good motivator if you pass. Do you mind passing on your email, so we can touchbase?
man oh man oh man…..i was contemplating not checking my score until after FAR on 8/29…But i took bec and i totally think that AICPA will release BEC on 8/18. Which mean IL will have the scores posted bright and early at 7am on 8/19. I would then be waiting for 10 whole days…..and the whole commute back to my house….what do i do??? man you guys brought me back to my dilemma!!!

That's the dilema, I'm having. SO I decided that my BF can check the score for me. I know BEC should be out next week, and I have FAR at the end of the month. So I'm going to let him check it for me, I think I'll know by his reaction. I was planning to wait, but then I'd be waiting for like 2 1/2 weeks.

Yeah I'm just odd like that, I feel like if someone else looks maybe it will not be as hard on me. IDK. I've always been that way. But as he pointed out yesterday if you look or I look the answer isn't going to change. I just think it will be less of a blow if he does it. Then again, he did say what if I say you failed and then a few minutes later I tell you you passed, you'd be happy. Actually I'd probably hit him because my heart would sink then come back up again. I'd be livid.
For those of you in the great state of IL…is there a way to check scores online? I've been looking, but it sounds like you can from what magic_8_ball said. I've also seen someone else allude to this.
So, you young computer literate whipper snappers (I'm 26), please tell me what I'm missing!
There is also all those wasted hours of checking to see if the score has been released. Hitting the refresh button. Last time the scores were over a week late. This way I won't care when the score is released. It may be tough to resist the email that let's me know I can check TSBPA website and pick up my score……….
I would kill him if he did that…that is just cruel!!!!

Whew nice to know i am a young whipper snapper considering i am 37 and all!!! LOL but someone has already posted the site. Independent states are the best…well at least IL is….by the time i reach work at 7am my score is right there!! Hell it may even be posted earlier idk. i can only tell you that by the time i sign in sit down and turn on the puter there it is.
