Mponi – I think I'm going to start testing in Warwick, hopefully only for my REG in October. I lived in Worcester for a summer and the testing center was right around the corner so I knew exactly where it was. I start work in Warwick in September right near the airport, so I figure by October I can find my way around Warwick, but I got lost one of the times I was going for an interview so I didn't want to chance it. haha!

Does anyone know what the fee is to reschedule an exam for a NASBA state.

The website just says it has to be further that 5 days out, but didn't say the amount.

My testing center is already closed.

Wouldn't you just reschedule on Prometric's site and they would tell you the amount? I am not sure what type of state I am in so may be different from yours.

I agree- that's the best way. When I rescheduled in GA, I paid 35 when the exam was more than 5 days away.

whonis2002 – sorry it took me a few days. I use Becker. Worked great for Audit and REG for me. As far as BEC, it was my fault it didn't work haha.

I am now currently studying for FAR after taking Auditing exam yesterday. I am using Yaeger Homestudy, Wiley and Becker materials. Do I have to read the entire Wiley book or just listen to the lectures in Yaeger Homestudy? Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.

I am having a hard time studying because I just set up a telephone interview for the end of the week. I can not get behavioral interview questions out of my head. I'm a wreck. haha

@suzette….you just listen to the lectures, the Yaeger weeds through the book, and goes over the important topics.

You do not read the book.

@mponi123 studying my butt off. finishing up on all 1277 MCQ in Wiley )at like 1110. Felt better before doing all of those MCQ's🙂 Hate pensions, one minute I understand it, the next minute it is confusing as all getout. love government 🙂 Looking to take the exam next week around Wednesday but haven't scheduled it yet. How 'bout you, how is the studying going?

@jenben – I am constantly checking my score, even though I know there's no real hope that it will be up yet. I keep hoping NASBA will play a trick and post them early. Here's to hoping you and I will both be DONE after they post!!!

As for testing center horror stories, my computer when I took FAR a few weeks ago made an awful humming sound the whole time. I thought the whole computer was going to crash in the middle of the exam! And the headphones sit funny on my head and just annoy and distract me.

Does anyone else have Prometric people come in during the exam to clean the desks next to you? About halfway through, I could smell this overpowering disinfectant/cleaner odor. I'm glad they clean those desks, but would rather not smell it during my exam!!

hahaha jenben – i don't do that, but i check this site like 24 hours a day. i haven't posted though for a full day! studied 2 hours tonight…did Module 15 (statement of cash flows) with cindy. she is awesome.

only 4 more modules to go…i think about 14 hours left or something. hoping to be done by monday or tuesday and that will give me 2 weeks to review all the material.

BEC scores should be coming out soon….so hope i passed. i will be useless with the studying next week when i know the scores are out.

wow cpaboston you have done a ton of MCQs!! i understand the info when they go over it..but because FAR is sooo big when i actually go back and do all the questions i am gonna be like…uuuh how do i do this again? i am not looking forward to that…
