@Aaron – no, I went to college on the East Coast. It's actually been more than 7 years since I graduated from college. I got my MBA in June 2009, and then took a break that summer before starting to study for the CPA exams. My undergrad degree is not in accounting, so I needed the MBA to get the required number of hours of accounting to sit for the exams.
I think IL takes the longest to release, a NASBA state that doesn't use the NASBA website, don't ask me why. I gave in and tried the OH loophole for the first time since starting this exam. It somehow lets me register for all sections, so I'm assuming it doesn't work for IL.
Honestly, I think I will be retaking the exam. I tried studying and taking it while having a slipped disc in my back and being on pain meds. Needless to say it was pretty painful trying to be seated for 4 hours, a slipped disc at 25, what the hell!
I didn't check on any of the others, and I am superstitious which is why I am kind of avoiding it. I even went to the same ProMetric location because I didn't want to have bad luck. Isn't that foolish?
