It seems NASBA will tweet what has been received from AICPA the afternoon after it was received, which is about 6-8 hours prior to the NASBA score release.
I am assuming this is due to the fact that NASBA was getting bombarded by phone calls asking if an individuals score was received in the group of scores. I am sure it was highly annoying and counterproductive to answer call after call.
I'm starting to think I didn't pass now. I just checked my CA board profile and it said that ‘No Credit' will continue to be displayed if I did not achieve a score of 75 or higher.
But maybe there's still hope, since no one else has gotten their scores lol.
@StressedinCT I'm in the exact same position you are. I passed my first part the same day you did. I'm waiting for FAR. It's my last part and I start losing credit on January 11th. I feel like I'm about to have an anxiety attack waiting for my score.
Hey all, I hope the scores all come back great (and soon!) for you all. I'm taking FAR in a week and a half, and am looking for suggestions on how to best and most efficiently conduct my review. I used Becker for FAR. I've been through the material already, but it has been a long time since lecture 1, and with work and all, I feel like I don't remember much of it. Any tips and suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!
I found it helpful to watch the lectures over for the topics I could not remember, either that or becker review or yeager cram. They are condensed, and help your memory right before the exam. I used yeager and they packed quite a bit of information into 16 hours, you could probably pass the exam if you master what they teach in the 16 hours. Worth the extra $ if you want to pass before 2011 changes.
danny – do a progress test or final exam to have it point out your weak areas. Then go through and reread those parts or listen to the lectures again. then do the mcq's again. I used the Becker Final Review, thought it was worth it since it was my first part….. Best of luck!
i am in ca. took FAR 8/30. passed all other exams REG 82, AUD 83, BEC 75. my brain failed after 3 hours and i think i failedFAR. yesterday I was able to login to my exam account and click for the application remittance form to take an exam again (repeat applicant). my credit for REG expires on 11/30 and i am so worried that i will not have enought time to reschedule the next exam. sent my $50 off yesterday overnite mail to ca board of accountancy. good luck to everyone.
@Sunny, I believe CA allows you to submit the $50 repeat application without restrictions. Only after you are approved to take the exam will you be brought to another stage for exam selection. Any exam waiting for score will be greyed out and cannot be selected. I assumed you applied for all 4 exams in one NTS ?
I remember reading somewhere in this forum that some candidates send off another application before getting the last score. And they said if they passed, this will be the best $50 spent.
@cinp. i have applied a few times. paid once for REG. again for AUD and BEC together. Got a 74 on AUD last November(will go to my grave thinking my sims must not have been graded correctly because i scored very high on all MC and felt confident on the sims), paid again for AUD and FAR together. i never noticed anywhere on my exam account after i got the NTS for AUD and FAR to be able to apply again and send the $50. maybe i just overlooked it somehow.
i will say it again as others have said it before…this process takes way too long. I took my test over two+ months ago, was pushed into wave two. Whats another day of waiting I guess?!
We think they were released, but nothing is certain.
So for the sake of the conservatism principle, (depending on 75 or bust) I won't include it in my books yet lol… I just cracked an accounting joke… I must be losing it.
