@montone12 – I got the very same combination. MC1 was easy, took less than 30 min. MC2 was a monster, had to struggle for more than 1 hours. MC3 was something between MC1 and MC3. Sim1 was all for the well-known subjects, but apparently each question asked more details, somewhat twisted. For Sim2, I had 40 min, but the first question tab made me crazy… because I've never heard that kind of language during my 4 months FAR preparation. When I left the test center, my body was so tired and my brain did not function. Now, after resting for the weekend, I am seriously thinking of digging into FAR questions again. Well… still want to be hopeful… but at the same I need to be prepared for the unfavorable result. Good luck to you and all other candidates who are still waiting for the scores.

    BEC 88, AUD 89, REG 80, FAR 88 (8/28/10)

Just got my FAR score this morning in Texas….passed on the first try with a 76. Believe me, I thought I failed for sure. If I can do it, you can too!!!!! There have been so many times I really thought I would never be a CPA because it was just too hard, but I've passed 3 sections now and I'm just waiting on my AUD score (took the exam yesterday). You really can do it!

@exam taker, congrats. I have BEC, AUD, and REG done and am waiting on FAR score. I tried to continue studying FAR in case I failed, but that lasted about two days…man I hope I passed having a life again is GREAT! Also, what made you think that you might have failed it? Please describe how the test went for you.

has anyone tried the loophole in for a Texas grade? Sorry if this has been answered before, i'm just curious.

I don't think the loophole works for Texas. I took my FAR test on 8/4 and my score was in the mini-release that was released this past Friday (265 FAR scores). I felt like I failed because I felt totally lost on both sims. I did have enough time to at least fill in the sims and make an attempt at the written comms (both were topics I felt very shaky about). Leaving the exam I felt OKAY (not good but just okay) about the multiple choice and terrible about the sims and written comms. I ended up with a 76 and funny thing is, my diagnostic report showed strongest on the written comms, haha. You just never know about this test. I felt really good after taking REG and I ended up with a 75; I felt terrible about FAR and ended up with a 76. I definitely thought I was going to have to re-take FAR in October, it is a huge relief to know I will not have to! Thank goodness!!!

@exam_taker: do you remember the approximate level of difficulty on your MC testlets? For instantance, did each one get tougher or did you have a few moderate-hard testlets?

I definitely noticed that the second testlet was harder than the first, the third could have been the same as the second or maybe a little harder. Still, as I said, my multiple choice score wasn't that strong according to the diagnostic report. Just enough to barely pass. Still, I may as well have scored 99, I'm so thrilled! Haha!

Hey guys I have a stupid question. They told me that I was going to be in wave 2 (mid September) even though I took FAR on July 31. I just checked my score for the hell of it and it is exactly a 75!!! This is passing right? Thanks.
