@ahm628 – If you passed, I hope you will celebrate and spend time with your sweet daughter. I know you will be so relieved to be finished with this mess and hopefully it will all be worth it. Do you work with a public accounting firm?
I did work for a public accounting firm as an auditor for two year, then I got a controller job with one of our audit clients. I hated it and am now going back into public accounting. I really loved auditing and was lucky to work for a firm that didn't make me travel or work 80 hours a week

I have two options..my old firm said that I can come back but I also interviewed with another firm. I am waiting for both to make an offer before I decide.
@ahm – That's good…at least you have options. My fiance and I are actually moving back near my hometown in a couple of weeks. He landed his dream job and I got a job with a well-respected firm down there, but have yet to tell my firm. I'm waiting until after the September 15th deadline. I really hate to leave them (and one of my co-workers is leaving too) so they're going to be really short-handed.
Congrats to your fiance for finding his dream job…those are hard to come by. Congrats to you for getting a job. If you don't mind me asking, where is your hometown?
Thanks so much – we're very fortunate to both get great jobs in this market. My hometown is a place called Sylvania, but we're moving to Statesboro (about 25 minutes from Sylvania). I went to Georgia Southern so it is basically like going back home. 🙂
