    @tnpod5

    Can you re-register for FAR since your score has been released?

    @italianCPA – I have been doing financials for 10 years but I don't see the advanced stuff ever so it was difficult for me. I am also not a good test taker or studier!

    This is what it is saying but it just changed. It was letting me register for FAR this morning.

    The section(s) of your Notice to Schedule (NTS) have been attended and scored. The score(s) reported generated a score notice to be mailed to you.

    If you do not receive your score notice via US Mail after the next 10 business days (domestic) or after the next 30 days (international), contact our office at cpaexam@nasba.org. Please provide the following;

    * your name,

    * your jurisdiction,

    * your jurisdiction id number,

    * your complete mailing address, and

    * in the subject line – Score Notice not received.

    @jmosterland – I hate to say it, but I think that's bad news. The OASIS message means they did receive your score and the fact that you can register for FAR this morning means that you probably didn't pass. That has been the case in the past as far as the loophole goes…I'm so sorry, but maybe it's wrong this time!

    The loophole will now let me re-register for FAR.

    Back to the drawing board.

    Yes- I am slowly coming to terms about it. I am still hanging by a thread of hope since the guy at NASBA told me it did not mean anything and Jeff said the loophole only worked if it was your last exam. I still have BEC next week but I do have a NTS for it.

    Oh well, as if a 74 was not bad enough last time. That means I got another 74 or I did worse. I have put over 200 hours into this one section. Devastating.

    Good luck to you and I wish you the best with the wedding!

    @WanneBe, I'm sorry 🙁 I hope it's some kind of weird error 🙁 I realize it's too soon to ask but how would you expect to change your study plan if you had to take it again? I was wondering this myself before i found out my score, like… I wouldn't even know how to study better even AFTER seeing the exam?? What are your hard points? Do you use the flashcards from Becker? I found those really helpful..

    FAR-91 (7/29)
    AUD-99 (8/23)
    BEC-90 (10/1)
    REG-99 (11/3)

    For those agonizing with me in TX, I called the state board like txgoddess and got the same answer.

    For what its worth, the last 2 scores I have received have come around 10 to 11 a.m.

    FAR (take 2 for me…) is the last section I have to pass to be finished with all this crap, so this time the wait has been that much worse!

    Good luck to all of yall

    I don't know what I'll do different. I put in 200+ hours the first time and 190 the second time. I have Becker flashcards, the Final Review, the effing works but I just can't seem to get it. I'm a horrible test taker. Maybe I should try a new career. I really want my life back.

    I'm going to go find a puppy and kick it now.

    Just kiddin'!

    @jmosterland – thanks so much for your kind words. And seriously, best of luck to you. They shouldn't be able to give a score of 74…that's just cruel. Unfortunately, the loophole has always been accurate for me, even if it wasn't my last test on the NTS. They've been trying to fix it, so maybe they have this time around…

    If you do get bad news, don't give up! Keep trying because it will all be worth it in the end – and good luck with BEC. That was my second least favorite after FAR…all I can say is do TONS of MCQ's and remember the variance formulas.

    I'm in Illinois and got my score yesterday afternoon. I passed FAR with an 89! I was surprised because I thought all the testlets were about the same difficulty. I think passing this test is about killing the MCQs and the written communications.

    FAR- 89
    AUD- Oct. 2nd
    BEC- Nov. 20th
    REG- 2011

    @ CPAwannabe – ***Hugs*** well it sounds like you KNOW the material, maybe this time focus more on the actual process, like see a coach who can help you with visualization techniques, make the day before your exam a relax day including massages and good food? That's gotta suck soooooo bad I can't imagine how you're feeling 🙁

    @dallascpa – thanks for the info. This is my first go-round and I didn't expect it to take THIS long after scores were released. Next time I'll know. Good luck!

    but how weird with them not having your score and now having it, Allyson:(( No-no, no new career. I think you might want to try yaeger – Becker confused the hell out of me for FAR and REG to be honest. yager kind of does it from the beginning to the end…

    I'm in TX, took my exam on 8/4. Called NASBA this morning and they haven't yet received my score 🙁 Boooooooo!!! I'm really hoping for some additional FAR scores to be released with REG, I guess that's my only hope for being in Wave 1.
