SO I know every test is different but does anyone have any insight on what has been heavily tested recently? I take the exam Monday and I need to narrow my focus….Thanks!

On March 31, 20X1, the Winn company traded in an old machine that had a carrying amount of $16,800, and a fair value of $14,500. Winn paid a cash difference of $6,000 for a new machine having a total cash price of $20,500. The exchange should include recording:

    A. no gain or loss.

    B. $3,700.

    C. $2,300 loss on exchange.

    D. $2,300 impairment loss.

Is ninja's trending score reliable if you've done less than lets say 500 questions? So far I've only done about 200 and I highly doubt I can do much more before my exam Saturday… currently trending 71%. (don't have much confidence in this number) I'm trying to decide what to focus on before exam day…

The trending from what I understand takes in the last 5 sessions so it shouldn't have anything to do with how many you have done. I am trending 55 and I am taking it on Monday. Hoping to super cram this week.

    FAR: 63, 55, 62
    REG: 65, 77*
    AUD: Fail, 64, 71
    BEC: 72, 74, 81

The trending score is a “snapshot” of your last 5 sessions. It is also weighted based on the question..so if AICPA thinks that question is “hard” and you get it correct, your trending average increases.

For the fall semester of 20X1, State University, a government university, assessed its students $3,000,000 for tuition and fees. The net amount realized was only $2,500,000 because tuition and fee waivers of $400,000 were given and uncollectible amounts of $100,000 were estimated.

What amount should State University report for the period as operating revenues from tuition and fees?

    A. $2,500,000

    B. $2,600,000

    C. $2,900,000

    D. $3,000,000

Becker says D ninja says A. Pretty sure Ninja is wrong about this one… Has anyone else found mistakes in Ninja?? Want to make sure I'm learning the correct material.

I think one of my biggest fears going into the tests are “How similar is what I'll see to what I've been studying”. You would assume pretty similar, but I worry if doing well on my practice tests at home mean I understand it or I understand how these questions are worded/remembered the answer from doing it previously

Used Becker online. Who needs a text when you can burn your eyes out staring at the screen for months on end?

It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you're hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

@mb from Becker: tuition fees are recorded at gross amount…so I would assume D is correct..but on pg 69 it shows tuition and fees LESS scholarships and institutional aid. perhaps the waivers are considered aid?

    @Gabe…Saturday morning…9am

Of course everyone wants to be done, but my hope is if I pass this I can take BEC in January and be done. I am using the remianing time on a friend's Becker that expires end of January. Would not be fun to have to purchase new study material for FAR if I could be done this weekend! Just need to hope what I know shows up on my test
