I just received another grade for FAR in the 70's.

FAR 2/13 – 73

FAR 5/13 – 74

FAR 8/13 – 72

A bit frustrated is an understatement. I'm looking for study advice to put me over the top. I've been studying Becker, which has helped me pass the other parts. I'm thinking that I don't need to change too much since I'm close. I know I need to do the MC's at least twice which I haven't yet. Besides that, I'm open to recommendations. I'm thinking about the Ninja Notes. Anything else?

I'm using Becker with Wiley Test Bank as a supplement if I have time. It pushed me over the hump for BEC so I'm hoping starting out with it for FAR will work.

@reyrey – you're SO close! I highly suggest using the Wiley Test Bank as a supplemenet to Becker. It's basically just loads of multiple choice questions, and you can work through the answers as you get through each question. Hopefully it helps give you the extra few points for the next round 🙂

SO I failed FAR for the third time… first time I got a 71, second time (I didn't study much) I got a 64 I think? Today I found out I got a 72. Very frustrating. I really felt I passed and that I worked as hard as I could. I even felt the simulations I got were easy. Of course, I'll try again… unfortunately, I have passed all the other sections (on the first try) and BEC will expire in March. Thoughts?

@lauren14, I would switch the review course or get supplemental . Also study hard ur weakest area. I am not sure what else suggestion I can give you since I would be taking the FAR for the 1st time. You have 2 more windows before your BEC expire so study hard, I am sure you will be able to pull it off. I am going to take FAR middle of Nov and I am using Becker. Becker seems pretty good.

HELLO AGAIN. I hate that I am back in this thread but know I'm in good company! 😀

I actually just got my score card via email. I got weaker in every single thing except Specific Transactions/Events & Governmental. Feeling a bit proud that I stuck with Gov't stuff the week before my exam (I am terrible at it and HATE IT) and it seemed to have paid off, sorta! I need to spend good time studying NFP stuff this time around. I personally think it's weird that that one section alone can be up to 12%.

REG - 65, 70, 80!
BEC - 35, 62, 79!
AUD - 73, 75!
FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.
