I think I understand. You are suppose to carry that number over from the first tab (or question). Thanks.

    FAR - JULY 2014 - PASSED
    BEC - MAY 2015 - PASSED
    REG - AUG 2015 - PASSED
    AUD - AUG 31 2015

Hi Jennibfox — yup you're right,

Carrying amount of the bonds = Face amounts + premium

They've provided the beginning unamortized premium of $81,105 so all you'd need to do is add the Face to that.

    FAR - 81
    REG - 74, 87
    AUD - 88
    BEC - 88

    Finally.

Regarding Ninja MCQ…how many MCQ's does everybody do per day? I have about 450 questions until I hit the adapative phase and it seems like a crazy amount…my test is July 19th and I'm taking the week before the exam off, so hopefully i can get through as much as possible =)

    FAR - 81
    REG - 74, 87
    AUD - 88
    BEC - 88

    Alright everyone,

so this weekend i pretty much finished becker review (besides the gasp vs firs section and the financial instruments section). I did all the lectures and have a few sims and mcq to go to before i have the 90% required for the becker promise.

Just wondering, i'm not taking the exam till at least mid august or if not end of august depending on my confidence.

So my main question is, what do i do now? should i just be doing mcq or making notes, etc.. any advice is greatly appereciated

@jstay — My test is on July 19th but I'm just about where you are. I'm planning on taking the practice test this weekend to see where my weak spots are and then go hard on MCQ. I'll then take another pratice test a week later to see what progress I've made.

If i had that much time, I'd keep at it with MCQ's and Sims, making sure I've got the concepts down pat. If you already know you've got some weak areas, drill those. It looks like you're on a good track though! I def wish I had an extra 2 weeks to review!

For the simulations that want you to prepare a journal entry should you show the credit as follows ($100) or just $100 if there is a column specifically for the debits and credits? Will the question specify?

Hi all! This is my first post. I have been studying FAR since Aug of last year. Took a few month break and decided to get back on the horse in Feb. My test date is Aug 16th and I still have about 20 percent of the material to get through. I work full time and worry I'm going to slow/ taking too long on each chapter. I'm using Roger. I Started reviewing inventory chapter today and don't remember it! I feel like I've lost motivation but already out so much into it and really want to get through . I have 8 weeks left till my test… Any advice? Thanks and good luck to everybody.

@chilab they will tell you but usually you go by what their balance would be. so for instance if you have 500,000 of accounts payable, you'd typically put that in as -500,000. For the sims they're very consistent about that

I did my practice exam Sunday, exam is this saturday. I can def see why sims kill some people because it's usually over something they don't know. My practice score suffered so bad on Sims bc it was on capitalization of interest, consolidation of a parent and sub, & statement of CF that i honestly glanced over and thought i got. So from my practice exam, you all may want to look over those items
