Thanks tnincy. I am just going to keep pushing through. I really want to take it on the 3rd because I have some personal stuff lined up for the fourth and family events the next weekend.

And of course another factor is that when I first applied for my NTS. I paid for all 4 test thinking I would have plenty of time by Nov 6 to take all 4. (Big mistake). Then to make it more stressful I decided to give FAR retake FAR in between that time.

I just need to focus on the material and not make the test something bigger than it is. Just get through as much as I can and stop making unrealistic daily goals.

    Hellloooooooo!

Concentrating on NFP today… doing pretty well. I think I have 25 more questions on Ninja MCQ to get through and I'll be done with them all. I think NFP is pretty easy if you take a couple seconds and just think really logically. Like if $100,000 is contributing and donor-restricted for buying a house, then the NFP buys the house. First you increase Temp restricted, then you must take it out of Temp, and add to Unrestricted. Just think of what you do with a savings account for a trip or something: Add to Savings, take out of Savings to Checking..

Why am I so excited for this chapter?! Ugh.

@anjanja thank you for responding to my comment. I now see this problem in a new light. Basic I supposed understand that the $5K and $7K were portions of the overall $51K that needed to backed out to determine what the cash payment disbursed for expense. I need to RTMFQ better next time.

Dinner is done, family is feed, now time to hit the books. My test isn't scheduled until Aug 2nd, but need to continue through the MCQ's! I am currently reviewing Becker Unit 5! Then on the the ninja notes and MCQ's!

    @ tncincy

You can do this! Try eye drops. Sometimes sitting here and reading/studying all the time can make your eyes irritated.

I have the visine a.c. drops. I have doubled up on the vitamin C in case I am fighting a bug. I am doing this…….no turning back. I'll take a mini break and jump in again with the mcq's

Hello! I'm new to this forum and currently working through Liabilities. I plan to take FAR in Aug 4. Studying has been a slow process for me, so I've been wondering how everyone stays motivated (and less scared) in the long run. Also, I'm a slow reader (and the material can be dense sometimes), so is there a more efficient way to read each lesson?

@tncincy I've been using flashcards recently, and I find it to be a helpful memory aid. I used to make them while I read the text, but I've realized it's better to make them AFTER reading and jotting down notes. In a way, I'd be going back to the lesson and reviewing the material a second time.

@takoyu What about watching videos that go with a book? I can barely stay focused reading such drab text, so having video helped me in the beginning.

Fack, I got 5 questions done tonight after work. Loser. Brain is fried from all the NFP I did today, so I guess that is ok. Tomorrow is the USA-GER game at 9am and OMG SOMEONE SCHEDULED A MANDATORY MEETING AT 1030am. I have no words for that person and my fury is indescribable.

@samdiegoCPA I think I'll try again and see if rewatching the videos would help. I think my trouble's with pacing, since I'm falling behind schedule.
