    Hello Everyone, On Lecture of Mod 12: Current Assets and Liabilities (F6) of Yaeger Review, Following the NINJA Study plan, scheduled to take the exam on July 5th. I am really hoping to pass the first time, also looking to begin studying for the Audit at the end of June. Home on an injury until mid August or early September so I have nothing but time (mixed blessing).

    Best of Luck to everyone,

    new here!

    waiting on my NTS to come in and probably scheduling it for August (hopefully). Started studying last week. Did F1 complete and felt pretty good. Got to F2 did the lecture, the MCQ really fucked me and made me lose almost all confidence. and its only F2. I already did 75% of the MCQ and the lecture. Gonna do the sim today even though I don't feel confident, then i'm going to just read over notes and other shit. Anybody got any words of encourgaement.

    Also, I haven't taken advanced accounting- with consolidations & partnerships Any thoughts on how this can affect me?

    @DianeB2014 No problem!!

    @jstay I am no expert but I know that when I do sims I have no idea what they are talking about or asking for lol Just stick with it. It eventually starts with make senses. It took a long time for me to understand MCQs and even still I am still baffled half the time. Just take it slow. And don't give up!

    @magatha12 I just finished governmental and you really have to take it slow. Try not to rush it. I started with the government-wide F/S and took notes on those… Then I moved on to the three fund types and their financial statements. Governmental, Proprietary and Fiduciary. I thought it made more sense to do that then how the book explained it.

    @lstevens225 – yes that helps! I have been going slow, I think bc I didnt take a govt class in college I am struggling

    @jstay – no I have not taken a govt course in college. The nfp section I was okay with, but it is seeming like govt is a whole new beast that I didnt anticipate. The concepts arent too difficult, but I have no idea how I will remember it all for exam day

    Its funny with governmental. The first time I tested I studied NFP and Govt like crazy and didn't pay much attention to the rest thinking I had it down… boy was I wrong. So on the kind of summary of how you did, I got below the average on everything but Govt and NFP lol THEN the second time I tested I tried to study everything BUT govt and NFP… and I still got below average on everything BUT govt and NFP. lol Thats about when I gave up and started all over lol

    Does anyone ever work out before studying? I am going to try that now. I hear you focus way better…

    My mindset is focusing on my weak areas. I use Becker so F2, F4, F5, F7-F9 are all areas where the point of emphasis have to be made prior to exam day. I have made note charts for all the chapters to date (beginning F10 tomorrow) as well as notes of journal entries and the IFRS vs. GAAP comparisons. My thinking is if I solidify my understanding and knowledge in all the weaker chapters and supplement my studying with NINJA Audio and NINJA MCQ to see different questions than I should be setting myself up well for July 3rd date with FAR.

    Getting so frustrated. I'm on F2 and I'm in the low 60s on MCQs. Ugh…

    Any advice/encouragement would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

    Hopefully everyone Is doing great.

    F2 is a toughie.. I scored in 30s and 40s. Hopefully on my review I can bring it up. Actually I hv scored very low throughout my FAR review. I am on F8 and hardly getting 60s.
