    Anyone have an idea of whether there is a way to see the total amount of time I have spent on Becker in the software?

    Simms Corporation reports under IFRS. Simms issued 2,000, $1,000 convertible bonds at par, with an annual interest rate of 5% when the market was 8%. The bonds are due in 5 years and each $1,000 bond is convertible into 3 shares of common stock. At what amount would Simms record the liability component of the bond?

    a. 239,569

    b. 2,006,000

    c. 2,000,000

    d. 1,760,431

    @Revenue, tncincy, Jspann225 …

    By shear coincidence, I was reviewing present values last night, and found a topic that dealt exactly with that question. Here is a link to the thread, I don't think I need to repost the answers. The link goes to the original question, which is answered in followup posts…

    I am trying to get a game plan. Right now I am moving back and forth from Becker to Ninja. I think what I am going to do is get all the Becker MCQ and Sims done in the next 5 days (2 chapters a day) then move to Ninja for the last week of study since I feel like their questions are most similar to the actual exam. I think this will get me where I need to be. Make sure I understand all the information. I also need to make sure I know the IFRS better.

    What is everyone else's plans for their final review?

    FAR - JULY 2014 - PASSED
    BEC - MAY 2015 - PASSED
    REG - AUG 2015 - PASSED
    AUD - AUG 31 2015

    I am trying to figure out a game plan myself. Thinking about going through as many cumulative NINJA MCQs as possible and move on to WTB if I start memorizing the answers. Gleim SIMS are closer to the exam so finish those in the book and they have different ones online. I haven't really looked at the NINJA Sims but will check them out as well. I also am going to try and get the 6 month free AL so I can practice researching topics. I need to go over IFRS good too.
