I'm on leases, using CPA Excel, plus NINJA notes and audio. I'm powering through both books before MCQs so that I can get a grasp (at least TRY to) on the material to get a feel for it. 200 more pages, woohoooo. I also have Wiley for MCQ, but thinking about also getting the NINJA MCQs

@magatha12 – I have the same program as you. I have CPA Excel and Wiley but I'm also thinking of getting the Ninja MCQ's. It seems like the Wiley questions are tricky and confusing sometimes – whereas the questions on the actual exam are more straightforward (at least I think they are – perhaps it's just nerves when I'm in there and I'm too freaked out to even understand if I'm being tricked, LOL). Since the Ninja MCQ's are so affordable, I will probably buy them and just see how it goes.

@NCcpaHopeful- I would definitely use NINJA with CPAExcel- it can get overwhelming for sure. I actually have Becker flashcards from a friend who uses Becker, and the CPAExcel book is spot on with Becker and also matches with Jeff's audio and notes. So I think we have all the material we need, just need to master the concepts 🙂 I need to buy the NINJA MCQs as well, I'll probably do that next week.

i bought the ninja mc while in a daze last night. they're actually pretty good because of how simplified it is, and the answers aren't from a book viewpoint, but backed up with word for word codification etc

I am starting F8 today and hoping to be done with it this weekend. How are you all doing? Any fun plans for this long weekend?

I am mostly going to be in my study with the exception of going to dinner with husband's coworkers.

Cant wait for my one go through of the FAR book to be over so I can start my review.

@2014 CPA I am pretty excited for the long weekend. I've been doing crappy with my studies. I REALLY want this but when it comes down to actually studying I seem to talk myself out of it lol So I got really depressed on Friday but since then I went to the library and studied about 2 hours. I am about to get up and ready to go to B&N to study. I am reading and take notes over basic theory as I finished governmental yesterday. I am hoping to finish basic theory today.

Using the ninja framework, I am about done with the cpaexcel books for FAR. Is one month of mcqs and sims practice enough? I work full time but just not sure what is a good allocation of time after going through the books

Hello everyone I am studying for FAR as well taking it on July 3rd. Right now I am on the Governmental/NFP chapters using Becker and NINJA Audio and NINJA MCQ to supplement the studying. I have written my notes for chapters 1-9 and with only chapter 10 left I plan to finish that by mid week then re-write my notes and exclusively use the NINJA MCQ, along with simulations and a couple of practice exams since those questions I have not seen before and will put everything together before exam day. only half way done with F8. Slow progress…I blame it on the wonderful weather outside and the neighbor hood enjoying the long weekend in the pool while I stay indoors with my shades drawn!! Will this CPA torture be over and soon 🙁
