    SO my FAR exam is next Tuesday and I haven't even touched the Bonds and Leases chapter in Becker. Am I totally screwed or what? 🙁 Already feeling somewhat defeated. Preparing to retake FAR in April.

    BEC- 75
    AUD - 83
    REG - 76 (Expired 2/28/14)
    FAR - 53 66

    @KNMCPA

    I think if you spend a day on the topics combined going through MCQ's and then refering back to the book when the questions are too confusing, you could get it!

    You may not have many bonds/lease questions on your test! You just never know. I would practice MCQ's and JE's for both so you are ready!

    {R: PASSED!! (I passed one!)}
    {B: PASSED!! (Halfway there!)}
    {F: PASSED!! (1 left!!!)}
    {A: PASSED(I am done!!)}

    I agree.

    I bet NYC wears a pair of heavy wide thick glasses with heavy eyebrows. LOL, just kidding.

    I have a pending (still unanswered) question from the previous page:

    I know N-C & S-C are just synonymous to each other. [Nominal rate, coupon rate, stated rate & contractual rate].

    So are M-E-Y. [Market rate, effective rate & yield]

    So then what is Prime Rate?

    LOL at my description. Def not glasses, no heavy eyebrows. I'm relative young, 28.

    @Amor is prime rate in your review material? Usually prime refers to the best rate available to you when you borrow money. It's the rate generally reserved for people with the best credit. The bank can always go to the discount window and borrow from the fed at a set rate, it would then lend you the money probably 200-300 basis points above the discount rate.

    The minimum in the threshold would probably be the prime rate.

    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    BEC - 84!!!!
    AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

    I'm sure, NYC would be flattered with my imaginative description of him.

    I'm picturing an undercover superman.
