Nonspendable fund balance
Restricted fund balance – restricted by law
Committed fund balance – formal government action
Assigned fund balance – intent of gvt board to use for a purpose
Unassigned fund balance
Restricted – govnt officials have no ability to change the use of the funds
Committed – use can be changed at a later date b/c the decision for its purpose was made internally

lvr21Member@Zack…
I haven't mastered a study schedule for a test yet. Everytime I make one out, I figure out it isn't working for me and have to change it. For BEC, I tried to spend at least one study session away from Becker a week. I would listen to the NINJA audio while going through the NINJA notes and write out to the side my additional notes. I would then do a few practice sessions in WTB. But one thing I did differently for BEC than REG, was listen to all the lectures first. I also started my “section” notebook. For BEC, it has a formulas section, notes section, and random facts from all the questions I missed. I really really liked this! I had my husband quiz me on all the formulas and I feel it was one of the factors of my sucess with BEC.
Sorry for all the spelling and grammer errors… it's the middle of the week and i'm tired!

AmayMemberDon't even get me started on how behind I am on MCQs! My schedule is so tight I can't think about it too much or I will think there is no hope! At least Govt. and NFP questions are done (averaged 57% on F8 and 72% on F9). Going to finish leases tonight and start on F7. I am working my way backwards based on what I think is most important. Here is my plan using Becker and NINJA. Oh and I am only doing 60% of the MCQs on the first round. I have no time!!
W 2/19 – MCQs F6 + F7
T 2/20 – MCQs F10
F 2/21 – MCQs F10
S 2/22 – MCQs F5, 4, 3 (10hr day)
S 2/23 – MCQs F3, 2, 1 (10 hr day)
M 2/24 – Finish F1 MCQs + rewrite fact nuggets (wish I had time to rewrite all NINJA notes)
T 2/25 – Mini MCQ sprints starting with weaker chapter
W 2/26 – Same (hoping for day off)
T 2/27 – TEST DAY
I know it is completely manic but I have to give it a shot! Any thoughts?
BEC: 73, 81
AUD: 85
FAR: 71, 77
REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂

lvr21Member@Zack.. I just meant I would make sure to have one study session .. say Thursday night's session and I would spend my two/three/four hours listening to the audio with the ninja notes. Then do a few practice WTB quizzes. I would get back to my normal becker schedule at my next study session (friday).
