I don't remember formulas being a big part of BEC, but that could be because those formulas had been covered over and over again in a lot of my accounting courses so they weren't difficult for me. Sorry guys–didn't mean to mislead you on your BEC studying.

I am kind of scared that I feel confident about the sims. JE's have finally clicked so I feel confident which is kind of scary.

I actually am pretty good at remembering formulas, so not really worried about that. I also took economics in College, and have read a ton of books involving economics, supply/ demand, elasticity, within the US and world economy. There is this Economist by the name of Thomas Sowell who I find brilliant, although I disagree with him on most points. So I'm hoping I can parlay my background into BEC. I heard a portion of it is economics. I actually tutored cost accounting a couple years back, so I should be able to remember some of the key concepts.

    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    BEC - 84!!!!
AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

@NYC–I think you'll be good to go. My business background helped me with BEC.

I know N-C & S-C are just synonymous to each other. [Nominal rate, coupon rate, stated rate & contractual rate].

So are M-E-Y. [Market rate, effective rate & yield]

So then what is Prime Rate?

BEC was mostly conceptual for me, not a lot of computational problems. WC weren't too bad, I wrote 3 paragraphs for each…intro, middle and conclusion. Left the exam with an hour left. Not a lot of Economics and was really upset because it was the topic I knew well. IT questions were sooo left field. I was so sure I failed and turned out, I got the perfect score, 75!

    You guys will do great!

    BEC- 75
    AUD - 83
    REG - 76 (Expired 2/28/14)
    FAR - 53 66
