    can someone please explain:

what happens to the consolidated income statement after acquisition. Does it include the non controlling interest share of subsidiary's income and dividends? Or does the NCI income (income-dividends) go straight to retained earnings in the equity?

What happens to the balance sheet after acquisition. What I think is the only change happens is to the NCI by adding its share of income and subtracting its share of dividends.

Finally J! It's like this day was never going to come for any of us! lol. At this point, I can say I'm comfortable with the information I studied and if I concentrate on the question and problem, I can get to the answer. I took a deep breath after I got those answers wrong yesterday and told myself to get my sh^& together. ๐Ÿ™‚

    How are you feeling? Ready??

I am feeling pretty good. I am as ready as I can be at this point. Like you, I have to make sure I read the question carefully. Who knows what they will throw at us. I am just hoping that I am prepared enough to get a 75. To be honest, I am really excited about the idea that I could be done with this for good. It will be one year to the day since I took BEC. Today, doing a barrage of questions, and getting comfortable with DTA and DTL's. BTW do you have anything that would help regarding notes. I am unclear when to record a discount and how to treat imputed interest. Any help would be appreciated.
