I’ve had a few requests for April/May Study Groups…March will be here before you know it.

In order to take an early April exam, you should begin studying…now. 🙂

Amanda, I posted my experience in the dedicated thread for that (easier for people to avoid if they choose), but it's pretty vague as to content, etc., as appropriate. Short version: it was hard but not unexpectedly so.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

Normally I don't have a problem with Q like this but this one sort of puzzled me.

Seco Corp. was incorporated on January 2, year 1. The following information pertains to Seco’s common stock transactions:

    year 1

January 2 Number of shares authorized 80,000

February 1 Number of shares issued 60,000

July 1 Number of shares reacquired but not canceled 5,000

    December 1 2-for-1 stock split

At December 31, year 1, the number of shares of Seco’s common stock outstanding is

    120,000

    110,000

    150,000

    115,000

Hey guys guess who got done with his FAR exam 😛 just finished and posted in the exam thread. In short it was everything I didn't want it to be. In my opinion it won't be that hard for most of you since most of your concepts are way better than mine as it's obvious from this thread. Just keep doing what y'all are doing coz you're on the right track. Thank you all for te wishes and prayers, now we just have to wait.

REG is nonexistent right now. I started on Tuesday and couldn't really get into it. It looks like a lot of memorization to me and I am not a fan. My 6 week break from FAR was exactly what I needed for my family, but not so much for my studying. Being 3/4 done is a big motivator, but I really wish I hadn't saved the two exams with the most material for last. It would have been better to knock out FAR and REG first and then BEC and AUD would have felt like a breath of fresh air because there is so much less material. Oh well. Hindsight is 20/20. Buckling down for the next 8 weeks. Feel free to give me any tips. 😉

    Mamma –

I decided to do AUD, FAR, BEC, REG almost to do a “less material” “more material” kind of approach.. I figured if I don't make it to the 18th month passing all 4, and AUD getting taken away, it wouldn't be the end of the world.. I wasn't looking at it as FAR REG.. I wouldnt be able to go in if I had to take either one of those over again. Just a thought.

    Good luck with your studying!

@NJ–I swear we are like twins sometimes! That's why I did it this way. If there is one I don't mind repeating, it's BEC. But now that I am 3/4 done with 3 available attempts at REG, I sort of wish I had done it the other way around. I wasn't confident enough at the time to think I could actually do this thing in 18 months. Good luck to you! I'll be pulling for you next week!
