I just want to know if it is me or not. I feel terrible this week because I will take FAR on April 1 and the nerves are impossible to handle. I feel I am starting to forget some topics. This is normal???? What can I do???

It is totally normal to forget topics for FAR because it is so much material. Try to relax and do the best you can. I know that is a cliche, but it's true. You chose the most difficult section as your first exam so if you don't pass it, think of it as a learning experience and don't give up. The percentage of people who pass all four parts the first try is low. Keep studying and working those multiple choice questions.

Thanks. Right now I am reading each chapter again and doing the multiple choice questions. But since I'm a CPA rookie, I feel horrible when I look at the book and see some topics that I dominated in the multiple choice questions disappearing in my mind.

Christian2823 – it is challenging to remember all the topics for FAR as you are progress with your studying, however you don't need to remember everything (that's impossible to do). With that said, I would suggest doing the progress test after you finish each chapter for all the chapters you have completed up to that point. This will help keep what you learned fresh in your mind as you're studying. Also, I did the becker final review for FAR and I thought it was worth it. It summarizes all the chapters by topics and does a good job as linking related topics as well as helping you see the overall picture (stepping away from the detail) which I think is important.

Reread the text, make flash cards, work more MCQs, redo the homework, read why the answers are wrong or right. Make sure you UNDERSTAND why they are wrong or right. That really helps.

I live in NY and have never been able to register online because of some glitch. I have, however, been able to get my scores on-line. I tried the Ohio loophole Friday and was told all day that testing still in progress or something like that. Friday night, the message read you have passed all 4 parts. I checked the other 2 or 3 loophole states that someone had mentioned and they all said I passed all 4 parts. I'm not celbrating yet but there may be something to it. I have read all of your posts on this site for about a year now and never posted. This is my 1st time and hopefully my last but thank you…..I really thought for a while that I was the only one losing my mind. 3 kids, in the middle of a divorce and I remember opening that REG book back in Aug of 2008 and I thought “this is never going to happen”. If I can do it, anyone can…..and if the loophole is wrong at least I have one testing window left :).

So how does this loophole work? I am taking the test in PA and if I go to register in OH I get the message that I passed all 4 parts. Is this legit? Anyone from PA use this loophole?

I am from PA. I tried the OH loophole and got the same information but I wanted to try some of the other loopholes to see if it is legit before I get too excited. But it seems like people, in the past window, who used the site and got that message did in fact pass.
