Right now I am studying from Becker, but the NFP questions are very hard and I am starting to freak out because I took government accounting in my University, but not NFP

I would definitely redo the Govt & NFP MCQ several times. It makes up a good part of the exam and if you know it, its easy points!

But comparing the Becker questions to the real deal, I think Becker shows questions as the worst case scenario, right???

Christian – I also used Becker for FAR (2010 version) & thought ch. 8 & 9 (NFP & Govt) was just blown off & rushed through. It almost sounded like Tim Gearty was bored & just reading, not explaining anything. Go through the multiple choice questions more than once & read why you got it right or wrong. That should fill in the blanks the lecture leaves.

Everything in that book, including appendix & homework readings, is fair game for the test. Nothing can be blown off.

I made a 71 in January. I received a “stronger” rating in NFP. In my opinion, you should try to understand as much as you can, then after that….memorize, memorize, memorize. I make up my own pneumonic (sp?) and find little tricks to help me remember things.

AUD 95 (3/5/10); BEC 83 (5/28/10); FAR 71, 72, 74, 82 (10/16/10); REG 65,80(11/23/10)

Wouldn't that be a kick to get scores on April 1st. No one would believe us whether it was a pass or fail!

I agree with LSU_BR… Know and memorize it. Don't underestimate NFP cuz those are “easy” points that might mean the difference between a pass and fail.

I am praying to god that I passed. I just want to get this done on my first try. I have until November to pass because I start at McGladrey & Pullen. I have all the time in world to study, but I am not doing very good right now. I need to know if I passed FARE.
