Hopefully I'm in Wave 1b for FAR…which means I'd get my FAR grade about 10 hours before taking AUD, lol.

I'm still in shock that I failed FAR… my first exam… I feel the tears coming soon! Need some motivational therapy right now… any words of advice folks?? I'm studying for BEC right now…. FAR gives me nightmares!!

I just realized something…. The FAR scores released today were released by AICPA. So, if we are in this run, we won't get them until Friday night from NASBA, right?

This was a learning experience for you and you will feel sad, you might even cry or you might resort to the bottle (all things that I have done in the past before) but at the end of the day, if you want to have that CPA designation you have to get back up and hit those books again. Always remember that “Nothing worthwhile comes easy” and eventually, if you stick with it, you will become a CPA.

I had read in the forums here that generally speaking, people usually think they did well in BEC after taking the exam but had a lower score than expected when they got results & the opposite for REG, thinking they did worse & got a better score. Both were accurate from my experiences too. Any rule of thumb like that for FAR except that FAR is just a very hard exam all around? FAR tomorrow, last section. I took my exam on 2/10 and didn't even check my score. My coworker passed FAR today with an 81 and I was thrilled. One of the partners at my firm came up and asked if I checked mine and I said no because it wouldn't be released for another month. He made me check and come to find out I passed FAR with a 79! The first time I took it just reading the Bisk book and got a 60! I am completely and totally obsessed with Yaeger HomeStudy which helped me increase my BEC score from a 72 to an 82 and now from a 60 to a 79. My coworker went from a 66 to an 81 using Yaeger HomeStudy as well! I am just in shock since I only took my exam 2 weeks and 1 day ago! Congrats to everyone who passed and to those who didn't…you can do it! I didn't pass it the first time I took it and I just kept pushing myself! Believe in yourselves! Now to begin studying REG for a 5/4 exam, but I am not starting until the middle of March since tax season is completely and totally underway! Happy studying fellow future-CPAers!

Wow you took your test on 2/10 and already got your score, while a person I work with took it on 1/2 and doesn't have his yet, and this is the last score he's waiting for. That doesn't seem fair in the slightest! Congrats though on passing.

KSgirl86, SAME THING HERE! I assumed since I took my exam on 2/12 that there was no chance I was in Wave 1. But then I randomly decided to check just now and was very pleasantly surprised to see I got a score and even happier when I saw 93! YES! I'm so happy. Just in time to give me motivation to start studying for audit this weekend/ next week! Good luck to all those still waiting!

Which state are you in? I took the exam on 2/13 and I assumed that there was no chance in Wave 1. How come you guys got your score already?

I saw someone took FAR on 2/12 already received his/her score. I took FAR on 2/13 and I haven't see anythings yet. Please advice what day is the cut off day for wave ?
