I used Bisk books and did lectures through Philadelphia CPA Review (who use Bisk CD and book) and also did the Yaeger FAR cram in January. The Yaeger cram and book were very helpful for my last week of studying. I followed what my lectures said were the important topics to study and thought the exam was easier than the MCQ and sims that I had studied.. that being said, I'm still waiting on my score so time will tell. I study topics based on the % they are tested (which are listed in the Bisk books) and the minor topics I spend little time on. Good luck to those taking FAR and good luck to those awaiting scores!

Cheapest – I would say that as long as you SIT for the exam before 3/31 you should not lose your credit as long as you pass. But if you want to make sure then I would call NASBA or AICPA.

@ purplefae…where in the BISK book did you see the breakdown of the % areas tested on the exam? I am here searching through the book but I can't seem to find anything….or maybe I am so tired that I just keep passing that section. Lol Thanks!

Call me crazy, but I could really use the extra week to keep studying… I pushed my test back to 3/4/10. For those of you that don't know, the window has been extended one week (through 3/8/10 I believe).

Nooooooooooooooooo. Why did you do that? In another week….you will say “I wish I had another week” and it will go on and on and on. You can't know everything but if you feel another week can help you pass (even though I'm sure you would have passed without it) then go for it. Good luck Glogo!

I know, I know… I don't disagree with what you're saying… it's just that my study plan was thrown off for a week when my Grandma passed away a couple of weeks ago, and I'm just now getting back into a good routine and starting to become comfortable with the material… I think if I were to take it Friday, I probably would have been just entering the pass/fail ‘bubble', but with the extra week and $99 investment, I think I'll be better positioned on the ‘bubble', hopefully more on the pass side…

I figure, if I manage to pass, that' s $150 dollars I saved by spending $99 now, instead of re-taking later. Of course, none of this means anything if I didn't pass REG, which I can't believe I've been waiting for a score on this entire past week +. I'm so worried about that! I feel smack on the ‘bubble' with that exam. Praying I passed!!! :/

In any case, Stacy, and everyone else, let me know about your experience after you take it!
