What makes FAR the worst of the 4 sections?

    a.) volume of material

b.) uninteresting content: bonds, pensions, derferred taxes, inventory valuation, gov't., etc.

c.) the fact that we have to wait until last to get our score

    Good luck Kmath!!

I'm working on Bonds right now :S The first 1/2 of the questions went well but now I'm getting worse… let's hope it's because I'm just tired from work. But you're not kidding cpawannabe, this is UNINTERESTING.

@ CPA wannabe I think FAR is also the trickiest. What I mean by this is that more so than any other part a MCQ is likely to be longer with a lot of information (and red herring distractors). Even if you know the topic that is being tested, you can still get the question wrong by misinterpreting or not paying attention to dates and other things.

What type of simulations are appearing in the FAR test?

Disclosure of content you encounter isn't allowed by the AICPA…please don't do it.

magic_8_ball_did_i_pass…yep had to take the whole thing again. I expected that. I was hoping to do just the sims but that wasn't the case. I can understand the position of not splitting it up so I just considered the first one a warm up. Now then, if you talked to me that day I would have given a different answer:)

jmjones4…nope Houston in late October. Seems we had a lightning storm. I hate lightning storms.

Oh yeah….magic_8_ball_did_i_pass…no a condition of taking it again was that I not know how I did on the MCQ's. They gave me an option to take my chances and see how I did and not retake. If I failed I would have to pay again to retake. It is kind of tough love.

Jeff. When does it look like we will get FAR scores? It looks like all the score releases are getting pushed back.

    Thanks
