Oh by the way, I ended up studying 211.50 hours for this exam… I felt pretty overprepared for this test and think I may have over did a bit. I was a little disappointed that some of the items I really hit hard didnt even show up. But hitting 200 hours was my goal, but I think now I could have dialed it back to what was recommended in this forum earlier, but I guess everyone is a little different.

Kmath, if you managed to do 5 progress tests and all the sims and five simulated exams I believe you ll be in v good shape. had my FAR on Jan 13 and I had almost the same time left after completing all the chapter and I felt so confident during the exam, I even finished all the exam including the Sims 45sec before the time.

working as much exams as you can well help you managing the time and assessing your results under compenation of questions in the same testlet which the questions after each module doesn’t provide. believe me, in the first simulated exam you will get a feeling as if you don’t know the question is related to which module, but all of that will go away as soon as you start progress and nailing each sim exam

Yeah while i was going through the chapters i did a progress test each step of the way. so i think i should be good, Government auditing doesnt seem that bad, so i only did those chapters once. I've been studying 12hr days for the past 2 months, i just want the pain to stop lol

    Some additional advice needed:

As of today, I've been through Chapters 1-7 (Lectures and MCs). I haven't spent much time on the practice SIMs… I intend on spending Monday and Tuesday wrapping up Chapters 8 and 9. That gives me a little over a week to work the Final Review (which I bought) and review MCs/SIMs/Both final exams.

What do you guys suggest I do most of or focus most of my time with from Wednesday until my exam February 26th? 1. MCs 2. SIMs? 3. Review Notes? Any thoughts advice. If I can do the MC and know why I am answering them right as opposed to memorizing them, am in good shape?

    Thanks.

I would say focus on the Multiple Choice and do the simulations at least once or twice

Has anyone tried the NASBA trick of registering for the exam to see if you can register? Last wave, if you were on your last test and had passed NASBA wouldn't allow you to register. I was curious if this was the case again this window? I am waiting on my FAR scores (last one to pass) and it allowed me to register so I'm wondering if I should count my losses or not. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!

does that mean sending new application and applying for the same part again? it is a great idea if it will work, please advise.

StudyBuddy. I think that worked only after AICPA released scores to NASBA. NASBA needs to have your score, even if not yet posted, before it can know whether to allow you to register for the exam again. My state does not work that way on NASBA so I don't know this first hand but it is what I gathered from others' posts.

Studybuddy, you are thinking way too much about this. Go buy a mix pack of delicious wheat beers and relax. There are plenty of good olympic events to be watching, so don't think about this stuff til Friday. If you passed the other three, then you probably passed this one too.

kmath…no one can tell you if you are ready. It seems like you put in the time and effort its just a matter of telling yourself that you adequately prepared and are ready for the exam! Goodluck tommorrow and let us know how you did!
