@katelyn – I just looked into your question NYC has had 9 Hurricanes in 96 years (1900 – 1996) therefore a hurricane may hit NYC every 9 years or so. I wouldn't classify that as infrequent.

Ok I have a question regarding timing of FAR. How much time would you leave for sims? Only reason why I'm asking is because I've been practicing them on Wiley and seem to go through them pretty quickly, but I seem to take more time with the MCQs. Do you think 1 1/2 hours would be enough time to complete all sims? Or should I maybe work on my timing with MCQs?

@jomarie an hour and a half should be enough, unless you get extremely hard Sims like me (and it seems like a few others) got last week.

If you leave anything less than an hour and a half, FAR will sink your battleship.

Dont know where else to go to express how im feeling. I have been through all the material, answered every question in Becker (avg. in the 60-70's on them)….did all the Sims, doing quizzes now and will take a practice test tonight. With all this accomplished i feel like i have such a small grasp of all the info. What can i do to study over the next 2 days that will truly benefit me? Keep taking tests/quizzes? Go back to the basics of each chapter and bank on getting Q's on test day that are not crazy in depth? Any ideas?

Keep taking quizzes and tests. I'm feeling the same way and I have my test tomorrow. I have been taking quizzes by topic but I think for the rest of the night I'm just going to take quizzes on everything. Good Luck!!

Ok, so I rarely post here. But, I just need someone to vent to and you all understand the best. Just got out of FAR exam for the third time. The first testlet was medium. Then the second testlet, I swear was in Chinese. OMG!!! Then the third testlet was like a kindergarten exam. I suggest at least an hour and 45 minutes for the simulations. I only left an hour and ran out of time with two simulation tabs untouched. Just hoping for anything higher than a 70 at this point because I have gotten two 70s. This is my last exam and only have one more shot before Audit expires in October. Any body who passes FAR is a genious or lucky as heck!! I have much respect for anyone who beats that beast!!!

Orleans Candidate – I'm terribly sorry to hear that. You probably did better than you think. I'm taking the test tomorrow, so I'm going to tackle some weak areas tonight. Are you our of New Orleans? Did you use the test center in Metairie? Reason for the questions: Is it still cold as $@#% in there? It's so annoying that if you wear a jacket you can't take it off.

    AUD: 92 (10/2011)
    BEC: 82 (7/2011)
    FAR: 55 (8/2010); 88 (8/2011)
    REG: 62 (8/2009); 87 (1/7/12)
    DONE!

@ Orleans Candidate. You have to let those tough MCQs go and don't drag it out. If you cant figure it out, just make an educated guess and move on. I guess the problem here is that you don't have enough time and not that you don't know the material. Don't let yourself down because the grading of this exam is weird. GL

    AUD - 83 Feb11
    REG - 75 May11
    BEC - 73 July11 84 Oct11
    FAR - 63 Aug11 76 Feb12 I'M DONE!!!!!
