blue 14,
I know exactly what you mean because I do taxes too. The whole timing of these open testing windows is obviously not to accommodate an accountant. I tested anyway to just be less afraid of it by having more exposure to it and you know what, Claire is right about having control over it. I went in thinking, “I'm using YOU this time, FAR” and I went through it without stressing. I truly believe when I retake it in July, I will not be in the shape I was back in January.
evaianos,
The
Becker “Live” class that I went to was just someone showing us the DVDs. It may be different elsewhere, but I decided to view the lectures on my own time and pace. I watch the lectures and do the multiple choice problems and have a 2007 Wiley CD of questions that I use just for extra reinforcement. Also I joined Club 75 and got
notes and watched some videos there. You'll figure out what your style of studying is and works best for you.
And Claire,
I left my exam and went straight to the beach with a bottle of Jose Cuervo. In a sense I am getting fed by women, my aunts. We are all having a girls weekend of eating, drinking and laughing. My FAR book is by the nightstand and I don't plan to touch it until I pack it to go home tomorrow. Then back to reality and the dreaded chapter on Pensions.
