I bet Audit is next and FAR comes out next Wednesday. I'm in NC so it's going to be at least the first of June before I find out anything!

I don't think anything can be predicted with any certainty. I am crossing my fingers that I get my FAR score in this wave. I took it on May 10th. I know they said the cutoff date for wave 1 of this window was May 7th, but they also seem to be delayed a few days in terms of releases (predictions said they should have started on Monday). I also heard of someone who got their BEC score today and they took the exam on the 14th. Then again, BEC doesn't have any sims which could make a difference. I wish there was more certainty with score release. I would be willing to tolerate the ridiculously looooooooong scoring process if I knew exactly when I would get results, haha.

So I'm taking FAR on Friday and I'm not ready and starting to panic a little. I would give anything for a June test date. These 4 months off a year are ridiculous.

Are there a lot of others taking it this week?

Hit the progress tests as hard as you can. In addition, the written communications in becker simulations (about 18 of them ) will prepare you good for the written part. Don't panic and just do your best!

Did you receive the breakdown of your grade pointing to the areas you are weaker? I think you should spend more time on these areas and less on the others. In my report it said that I am below average on gov't accounting so I definitely want to spend more time reviewing this area. It also said I am weaker on Transactions and events (how the h*** I study for that?)

I am also behind with my preparation for next saturday. I am doing the q's on chapter 5 and the lease accounting took a lot of time and now bonds is taking a long time too. So I decided to switch to listening to the final review lectures for a change. Just the lectures, no questions and simulations. While I am going thru final review I am looking at my flash cards and finding stuff I can write on them. This is my approach, whenever I am stuck on something (like on the bonds questions) I am switching to some other type of studying… Are you taking some time from work next week for your exam?

This may sound crazy, but I am using this window just to practice. I knew I couldn't handle my workload and try to study thoroughly for FAR in 4 weeks. I can't take time off either. I hated to waste a testing window so I am going to take FAR even though I am only 50% done studying.

If I get tested on the first 5 lectures, I will do well. Ha ha ha. I plan to get a feel for the topics and practice my time management.

It has taken me longer than I thought to restudy because I want to make sure I know it better this time. I'm doing more questions, rewatching all the lectures, taking notes and I carry the flashcards with me everywhere. I'm going to continue to study and plan a mid-July FAR re-retake, then BEC in late August.

CPAWannaBe, great idea! I think you stand an excellent chance to pass, even though you don't think you are ready!….this is your second time… Make sure you review the obvious areas…like bonds, eps/fully diluted, ect…..
