most likely you need to log in to your state web site and go to your record. the specific process might be different for each individual state. so i recommend you call your state board on monday. if they have your score they can tell you over the phone. but i think reg might come down to the states toward middle of next week at the earliest…

thanks really scared to check scores as others r also awaiting to hear from me about my result and its so much pressure when everybody assuming u must pass!!!

To tell you the truth, I had only one tab on general entries with 7 – 8 journal entries only

Actually, I was expecting many journal entries like everybody else. However, my simulations were very very basic. If you know the mcq's properly, you will have no problems in solving the simulation. Some of my tabs were all over the place and I left about 2 tabs completely blank because I ran outta time. It sometimes makes me believe that I did poor on my exam because my second testlet was piece of cake and my simulations involved very few journal entries. I don't know about this exam because seriously I have no idea what I did but I did guess on my questions. I hope I pass otherwise, july 31 will be next prometric date.

thanks rahul. hopefully you pass and never need to use the july date…. the difficulty of simulations is not adjustable based on how you did on the other testlets. good luck.

i was just like that on my first exam. i told people when my exam was and they kept asking. i passed my first one but i realized i have to get everyone off my back. so i told them not to ask me anymore. i told them i will let them know when i pass everything. this including my coworkers. it takes the pressure away some. hopefully you pass though, you are good in tax and this is a good sign… try to stay positive and prep for the next one. you might have had a new simulation and not get your score until june. so don't get so hung up on checking your score…

I took the exam yesterday and must say it wasn't quite the monster that I had anticipated to face. The tabs in both simulations were independent of one another and of easy to medium difficulty. FARbehind, many of the tabs were journal entries on both simulations and I felt Becker really prepared me well for this.

Now starts the brutal waiting game for Wave 2 scores!!!!

I think some exams have simulations with tons of JEs and others don't. Last summer I spoke with someone in my class who had lots of them on FAR so they have been around awhile. I think the only way to prepare is to rely on your most basic accounting foundation, apply what you know from the situation and make sure they balance.

Most JEs were covered by Becker and not bad. One of my tabs was on a fringe topic that I have never encountered so I could barely figure out the answer much less put it in journal entry form.

Took FAR yesterday……….OUCH…….. It was the first exam I've ever taken that I actually ran out of time. I had 19 minutes left to complete the second simulation and three of the tabs had PARAGRAPHS of info to read before getting to the requested questions……so on two of the tabs I just began clicking away on items….

One of the Research questions was way out in left field…..I wasn't even sure what they were asking…had to re-read the request 3-4 times……

It's interesting that when even when you think you KNOW the information…they can take a question and just twist it or distort it to the point that you begin to question yourself…..

I have two weeks to get ready for AUD on 5/31….so far I've gotten a 69, 74,74 on AUD…..so I'm hoping I can pull down a few extra points in a short period of time.

REG expires on 5/31………sigh…….

you are one brave man. I don't know if I could fail so many times. I would just drop out. I admire you for your spirit. Keep going. I wish you luck to pass the 2 sections you need to pass until May 31 and be done with the whole thing. Keep us updated.

One of his was so good…so inspiring…that I printed it out and carry it in my briefcase……….

And the bottom line is…..he was right……I'm glad I didn't make a snap decision when the chips were down…..

CPAWannaBe I think we may have had a similar simulation. I also had JEs for a fringe topic that I've never seen in school/grad school/study materials/practice! Frustrating… but at I'm pretty sure most other hadn't seen it either.

This is my second attempt at FAR and I'm leaving for vacation next tuesday!!! Tempted to not check the score until I get back, but if I passed, I would love a reason to celebrate! I'm torn!
