please does any yaeger users out thee have any strategy to study for far? i have no clue on how to take notes as the reviewer is sometimes all over the place and emphasis on solving mcs? i was able to take some notes for reg but this is somewhat confusing. the text is way too voluminous and she does not need us to read all. i was able to understand reg without reading the book…… however she is fast and i believe i am issing key points.

    help needed!!!!!!!!!!

Its pretty basic. They lecture then hit the questions in that certain area right after. Better than Bisk and Becker.

    FARbehind and Magayon,

Me too! I am finishing L-3 today and I thought I would have known this better the second time. I almost didn't do the 3 lecture review this time, but I now find it imperative.

My problem is lack of motivation. I devoted my heart and soul to it last time and it's so hard to do it all over again. It is so boring, voluminous and I have a long way to go still. It doesn't help that I have done some of these questions 5 times and still make the same stupid mistakes. I pray for the ability to retain this stuff!

CpaWannaBe, Yes! I pray that we may have the motivation and the determination to study more and more each day. We can do this! If others can pass this thing why can't we? Goodluck to all of us…. We will not give up, right?

    God bless,….

I was the same in my lack of motivation this time. I was so much more calm about the test this time that my husband didn't even realize I took it Friday haha. I did get a tad more motivated to study as the time got closer to the test so hopefully you'll get more into it as your test gets closer. I still only had a little over 30 hours total of studying in this time :S

I am a Yaeger user and currently studying for FAR, too, as my first exam. The way I study is, I play the video and would pause it when I couldn't understand something or before the lecturer gives the answer to the MCQ. That's what I did before I found this website( I am a newbie here). And now, based from reading the posts here by other Yaeger users, I am now doing a sort of like summary or a note right after every chapter. Then I would write down again the key concepts- especially the mneumonics(Some I got from Roger Philip) and the formula. I am doing the rewriting of the formulas for me to review maybe hours before I sit for the exam.

This is all I can share with you. I would love to share more but as I have said this is also my first try.

I really want this exam to be over.

Things to do after I pass:

    1. Start working again (already ahead of the game on this one, thankfully!)

    2. Get engaged.

    3. Enjoy life as a CPA.

    Praying. Good luck everyone.

Good luck glogo, this sounds like a good list…

    Things on my list:

    1. Have time to talk and read with my kids again.

    2. Spend real time with friends and make sure they know I am still alive and there for them.

    3. Go on vacation on a remote beach where all we do is play backgammon all day long…
