    Elsie,

    I posted some on REG forum yesterday. I have mixed feelings. It wasn't that hard per se but I am sure if they consider the “wrong” simulation for my grade I will need to retake. If they consider the other one I might pass. Of course not too much business law which is my strength. How did yours go? I had a lot of questions that were on material I had considered not important so I hadn't study much. I couldn't tell if the testlets would become harder. To me they were all equally hard. Could you tell? I hope we are lucky and pass… Which state are you in? I am VA.

    CPAwannabe, that's what I thought I could use the 10 minutes to write some formulas. But they told me I can't:( write anything until my actual exam starts. For REG I didn't need to write too many formulas but for FAR this is helpful. I need to find that out before my FAR exam. Yes, we are taking the beast around the same time. I looked at the book last night and I forgot a lot. I would have to listen to Becker lectures again one time, then redo the problems and then cram for a few days. I have the final review for FAR so will probably go through it one time too. I will have stressful 3 weeks. How do you re-study?

    Good luck today!!! I'm sending all my FAR thoughts your way as you take the exam!

    I can't believe mine is already the day after tomorrow. I'm finally starting to freak out a little bit. I did a ton of progress tests yesterday and my scores were all over the place but nothing was too terrible. AH! I CAN NOT WAIT TO BE DONE WITH THIS!!!!!!!!

    Maybe they changed the rules about when you can start.

    I am studying for FAR as if I haven't taken it before: watching lectures and doing all problems. I didn't do all the supplemental last time but will try this time. I am only on L-3 ;(

    Anxious to hear how the exam is going this window from those that are taking it this week.

    Glogo, I am pissed myself man! I guessed on so f****** many questions. Did u see them simulations? Jesus christ! Who make these exams. I ran out of time at the end and left at least three tabs completely blank:S

    FARbehind, my exam was weird. my 1st testlet was difficult bcos i was really nervous an kinda blanked out then came then 2nd and 3rd and it seemed easier so i think i am opposite of most of those here. i had a topic that was not covered by any review and is a new topic on twosim tabs. overall i am not satisfied with my strategy taking the reg test but if i pass then i would credit lots of prayers plus my study strategy of focusing on the right topics.

    Yes, thanks Elsie. I saw the tips it helped. I had a lot of basis on my test. I just hope I did well. At this point I start thinking there is no way I pass this test. I think I'd better concentrate on FAR and not think about REG. I think I don't want to learn what my grade is until I sit for FAR on May 29. I hope I have the strong will to not check.

    I saw also your explanation about your test on the other blog. I thought my testlets were of similar difficulty, not easier or harder. I thought the sims were weird but not completely out of wack. But I don't think I did well on them. Oh, well, I am going to start on FAR re-study now. You should too. Don't think of REG too much. This will eat up your energy… Will this be your second test?

    Glogo/Rahul you should not feel bad, it seems like everybody who takes FAR this window feels that way. The people who make the tests were probably just like us struggling with the tests and now their goal is to retaliate on the new test takers. You can apply to work for AICPA when you become a cpa. 🙂

    CPAwannabe, it doesn't sound very optimistic but we should hang in there…

    My experience was if not worse than my first time, the same.

    My first testlet was kinda hard… I spent almost an hour on it! Then I started to panic…

    And oh man, then the second testlet came along! WHOA! The second one was just not fair! Guessed way too much!

    Then, I got the, we pitty you testlet for the 3rd. It was by far the easiest, which just confirms that I bombed the second testlet.

    Then I got to the SIMS. I got both research tabs, I'm sure… but WTF, those are only worth like 1 point… I had one COM that was real easy, and another than was managable. I definetly utilized the research tab to answer those…. well, then I got to the problem tabs. HOLY CRAP!!! That was the sealer for me… I knew then it was over.

    My hope is for a 75, my gut tells me 65. My gut has been wrong before, but for some reason, this time…… whoa…… for those of you taking it soon and that haven't taken it yet…. I don't even know what I can say to help you, other than, hope for the best, expect the worst. I hope no one receives the same test I did…

    FAWDGFMWMFKWNGEWKFNWLFFW <—- ANGER. If i failed, I have a small window to re-take before I lose BEC. 7/1-7/6. Fingers crossed.

    Glogo, i agree with you. I am also planning for a 65!

    First testlet – medium hard

    second – piece of cake

    third – medium hard

    I don't study for this exam again after wasting so many sleepless nights.
