I feel like my life in on hold this week! Waiting for FAR results that seem like they may never come.

The longer the wait, the more hopeful I get to put FAR behind me forever. Will next week be about celebration? or trying to swallow a mammoth sized deception?

This is painful… So does anyone have an inclination on whether REG or Far will be release today?

Oh, do you think some evil nerds are running the AICPA score release process?

NASBA made the announcement about the release of AUD at around noon yesterday. The BEC release was around 3:00, so I guess it's possible that the AICPA could release FAR or REG within the next hour or so.

I was really hoping to know one way or the other Monday night, but it looks like my patience (I have NONE!) will be tested this time. I feel so much anxiety about this one because not only was it very difficult, but it MIGHT be my last!

I cannot imagine having to study for and take this monster again while trying to go through year end and the annual audit at work. Keeping my fingers crossed that enough of my guesses were correct…..

I guess my lack of patience has come shining through again. I will hold out hope until the last possible moment today. I don't know how I'd handle this without the people on this forum – it really helps to know it isn't just me who feels like the sky is falling sometimes…..

I just saw this on NASBA'a twitter page.

FYI-NASBA hopes to have all scores in from AICPA prior to Dec 24. We will be open normal business hours except Dec.24 & 25 & Jan1.

It is from a couple of days ago but atleast they are shooting for before Christmas.

True, I think no one truly understands the anguish we are going through but us masochistic CPA wannabe's.

They tell us: your are a whiner, you got an 80+ or 90+ and you thought you failed. your are freaking out for nothing!

Yeah, I abstained from caffeine and alcohol during the entire pregnancy… and now that I'm nursing, I'm still abstaining from them.

I did push my NTS for FAR back a testing window because it expired right around my due date. I should have done the same for AUD, which I took two weeks after the second BEC and two weeks before the baby was born.

I studied for FAR while I was on maternity leave. That sucked.

st johns, about the only thing close to “official” would be following NASBA on twitter. they usually tweet pretty important news, including when they've received the scores from AICPA. other than that, AICPA is, to our dismay, pretty hush-hush.

Good Luck to all. I have two more shots after I find out I bombed FAR. Moving and getting married puts a strain on studying.

Has anyone taken Becker's Final Review for FAR? I wanted to order it and cover my bases for the next FAR exam in February. I need to pass this one! I need to move on with life!

ya, i used becker's final review for all of the sections. i really like it because it's about the closest thing you can get to something that actually looks and feels like the exam. the review notes were pretty useful too, but i was not a fan of the audio…

TheGreatOne, yea I used the final review for FAR and even sat through Liliana's 15hour live course in Dallas, in one day! I say at least spend the money for the software. I swear that is the only reason I passed FAR.

Does anyone know how much delay this site has to the actual score release?

Let's say AICPA releases at 4:00 pm. When will this site announce it?

It's getting late into the day and still not news!
