Passed FAR on first try but I don't feel so good about it….. - Page 3

    Anyone else like this?

I really didn’t study as intensely as I should have, and it is reflected in my score. I skipped chapters. I only focused on subjects that I was really strong in, and I didn’t even do enough MCQ’s or TBS to qualify for the becker promise….

In short, I did it the slacker way, and to add insult to injury, on my test analysis, I was put in the “Just passed” category, which means, and I just barely made it.

    It’s embarrassing I think.

    FAR 78
    REG 87
    BEC 78
    AUD 78
Passed all exams on first try! Good luck to everyone!

@OP I can't decide if you are serious and have some major self esteem issues going on, or if you are a troll who is reveling in all this uproar. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt…for now.

You need to relax. You passed. Be happy! Is someone being rude to you about your score? Where is all crap coming from?

Let's be honest for minute. It doesn't matter if you work @Big4, midsize, small, or hell even @McDonalds, until you complete your training and have a few months under your belt you are basically useless at a new job. So don't worry! As a newbie no one is going to put you in a conference room with an Internal Revenue Service Agent and expect you to represent a hysterical client under audit on your first day. I agree with @Baxter that is why there are seniors, partners, and owners to do the heavy lifting while you learn! Stop sweating your capabilities to “protect the public”. Clearly you have a strong compass and will be great in public accounting.

When you pass your remaining sections and are so sick of studying that you want to die like the rest of us…please re-read this thread and it will make you smile. I promise that you will be so grateful to be done that you won't give a shit if you pass all parts with combined score of 303 like the rest of us. You will be OK, you just need to calm down! 🙂

    REG: 75 DONE 🙂
    AUD: 61, 71, 68, 92 DONE 🙂
    BEC: 76 DONE 🙂
    FAR: 72, 74, 79 DONE 🙂

    @ Mints Well said! 🙂

@ sonygal: Going to prometric gave me heartburn. Like extreme heartburn. I brought Tums with me and popped like 4 right before I went in and legit took a break mid-way through to get so more Tums on each of my exams. 🙂

I didn't feel great about my FAR score either (scored similar to yours)….I got over that feeling after about 10 minutes after I cracked my AUD book and realized I had one down and 3 more to go. You now know what it takes to pass, so study harder for the next one so you have a little more safety margin.

    Awaiting license in IL.
