Someone please tell me that UWorld Roger CPA Review CRAM isn’t a total waste of my $200! PLEASE I’M BEGGING YOU!! I assumed (my bad) that it would include MCQ but so far all I have seen is videos only! Or maybe I just haven’t found the MCQs yet?! The videos are okay but for $200 I expected more. I would have purchased Blitz for cheaper if I only wanted videos!

I thought Roger was great for FAR. I can tel you I do not like his mcq software. Too labor intensive.

So question. I purchased Roger Cram for FAR and like it for the most part. I then realized that because i was a campus ambassador i get 50% off. My question is would it be a waste of money to get the Becker Final Review for FAR also even though it is around $80 bucks?

I just purchased Roger CRAM (FAR).. for those that have experienced how long should I spend time on this. I should be done with Becker by next week. I also plan to supplement ninja for a week before my test date. In the mean time take some Progress test and do some more SIMS on Becker. I feel like not having enough time to tackle all the material. Feeling a bit overwhelmed!

When you end up with too many study materials it can be overwhelming. I would have studied and watched my main CPA review course materials and do at least a pass through once of all videos and questions. Which most of the time leaves you with 2 weeks. In those 2 weeks I would focus on pounding out the Ninja MCQs.

The cram comes in towards the end to kind of go over all the lectures kind of bring everything together. Now, if you are running out of time, not sure if spending all those hours watching more videos when you just finished watching another set of videos makes sense. maybe as you are going through questions for your final review if you just don't get the concept watch the Roger lecture.

Rugger i am just using cram and Ninja notes and book if needed. I took FAR not even a month ago so i didnt have much time off from it at all maybe one week.

Kyle I used just the cram for audit for my last retake and it helped me. I didnt want to go through a whole review course. I liked how condensed the textbook was and it was to the point. Fingers crossed I can be done with Audit this time around.

Mine had MCQs in the back of the CRAM book that comes with it, but they were useless way too easy. I loved the roger videos, especially for REG they were a huge help. I used 10pt + WTB (or whatever it is called now) + roger videos for my two weaker exams, it worked well.

I supplemented my REG study with Roger's cram. Passed with an 85. That being said, the majority of my studying was from pounding thousands of MCQs from the Ninja test bank. I also have 3+ years of tax experience. Still, I thought his lectures helped to flesh out some of the more abstract concepts like AMT, business law, notes/debentures/commercial paper etc.

Thanks @Confusedcandidate and everyone else that replied regarding ROGER CRAM. I did suck it up and paid for it (will activate it as soon as Becker is done). For some reason becker isn't too effective for me so I hope Roger will help strengthen the concepts. Congrats on passing REG. If Roger is proven to be effective I will supplement it for my other sections. Will get Ninja as well.

Spartans – I found his AUD to be ok but not as great as his REG. Can't speak for FAR or BEC but I have seen good comments on the FAR. Good luck!
