@Re2pect I did the whole Gleim course and also used my Yaeger course I still had access to along with Ninja Test Bank and Plus. The Yaeger wasn't nearly as helpful as Gleim and Ninja though. Yaeger's longer videos were hard to pay attention to but Gleim and Plus' shorter videos were much easier to watch. Also I feel like Gleim was harder than the actual exam so when I got a 77 on the Gleim practice exam I said ‘I can do this' and I was right!

@AScott89- Gleim's mcq's are way harder than the actual exam. I'm struggling just to get a 65 on most of them. I've only tried a couple sections of sims, but I'm liking them so far. They feel exactly like the exam and are much harder than other review courses.

@jules_cpa- My score report said I was stronger on mcq's overall and stronger on all the tax topics and comparable on ethics and blaw. As long as I keep practicing sims I'm confident I'll be able to pass next time. Getting a 74 is brutal, but I'm sure you'll get the next one!

I used CPAExcel's review course and switched to Ninja MCQs for the last few weeks or so. In the few days before the test, I was having problems in a few areas (global economics and IT mostly), so I began focusing almost exclusively in areas I was weakest in. I copied and pasted the data from Ninja's detailed progress report into Excel and highlighted sections where I was below 70% and would do 20 questions at a time focusing on only one or two subsections at a time. I am studying for FAR now and I think I'm going to do something similar near the end to gradually bring all areas up to a respectable level. So maybe start with areas below 65-70%, as scores increase, focus on areas below 75-80%, and then on and on. Of course, switch gears here and there and include questions from all areas to keep everything fresh.

Just do all the MCQs n hit the review phase, do as many as Simulations if possible, and review missed and trouble questions from time to time, one should be able to get there.

I honestly hate the number 67..... officially the worst number ever. Ugh, but 73 feels so much worse.

I have used Ninja for all four, and this is the only time that I have had my actual higher than my trending, or within ten points of my trending score for that matter (I didn't use Ninja on my third Audit try).

But somehow I am done, never thought this day would come. Jeff, thanks for the MCQ!

By the way, that FAR curve must be real. I would have been pleasantly surprised with a 65, was expecting 50s. For the other three, my actual scores were in line with what I thought I would have scored, FAR was the exception!!
Signing out of ninjacpareview.com for the last time ever! Unreal feeling. Will still be here on a71 tho, you guys are awesome! And trust me, if I can pass this brutal exam, you definitely can!!
