I tried to make my own flashcards and it got too cumbersome for me, so I ordered Becker's. They are basically the same infomation as in the book. The only advantage for me was that I could carry them around in my purse for those little moments I could squeeze in a quick study. That was convenient. There were some chapters I knew the cards well and others I never even looked at.

Making flash cards was cumbersome and time-wasting, and buying them seemed a waste of money……..so I ended up not using them.

I haven't used a single flash card in my CPA studying for far, and its worked well for me. I never used flash cards in college or high school to study either. If that is truly how you study, you are probably better off making your own cards so they stick in your head better. If you normally don't study using flash cards they might just be a waste of your time/money like Patrick909 said above.

    Elsie,

Then you will love the Becker cards. I haven't seen any others to compare though.

My friend and I use Becker. They are more helpful than I thought… so I would recommend Becker as well.

For FAR, I used them a ton.. late night, when I couldnt do any more q's, I'd go through them chapter by chapter, a few at a time.

As time went on, I'd set aside the ones that became more important, so before exam time, I had a nice stack of about 30 that really helped me with subjects/concepts that were tough. No extra studying can hurt you, and its nice to be able to pull these things out at anytime and get through a chapter or two in 15-30 minutes.

    FAR 11/13 - 78, BEC 1/13 - 82, AUD 2/23 - 94, REG 5/15 - 86

I have both Becker and Kaplan flashcards. I feel the Becker flash cards are pretty good, they just cover topics and concepts, whereas the Kaplan flashcards cover the same things as the Bekcer ones and also have miniture problems that you can easily solve without any paper or pencil. I'm not a huge flashcard person, but I would definitely consider looking at the Kaplan flashcards. The Kaplan flashcards are a great source to use while studying at the office or on the road if you arn't drivng.

    BEC-77 (8/14); FAR-68, 84 (3/1); AUD-?? (5/29)

I don't think anyone is intentionally ignoring you. Chances are, people who are purchase these flashcards are doing so when they purchase their study software. For example, I use Becker to study so I purchased Becker flashcards. They worked for me, so I have no frame of reference for other flashcards because it wasn't necessary. I have never heard of the particular brand that you are asking about, but I would say stick to the flashcards that supplement your study materials. I think that would be the best since it would be consistent with what you are learning. That is just my input.
