Becker CPA Review Mock Exam Score vs Actual CPA Exam Score

I figured since so many people ask, it’d be easier to have it all in one thread for reference. Good idea?

Calculating this by taking the average MCQ*60% and average sim*40%

Practice exam 1- 70% (60% MCQ, 85% SIM)

Actual exam- 86 (left 2 hrs for SIMs on exam day and used every second of it)

I don't remember my exact scores- but I have never received higher than a 75 on Becker practice exams.

I got an 80 on BEC, 84 on REG, a 74 on AUD and I didn't take the practice on FAR so I will omit that score. So generally, I think if you are getting between 60s- 70s on the practice, you should be good for the real thing – HOWEVER don't let that put your guard down. The exam is a beast. Aim for over 75 so you will at the very least pass.

Took my exam yesterday (10/11) hopefully I passed. I walked out feeling like I need to prepare for a retake. The SIMS in Becker were much much easier than the actual exam.

Wanted to post because this was the best/ most useful thread to me when I was studying. As you can see i did way better on the Becker Final Reviews and then the 63 needed. And as expected my scores were good. But just wanted to say that after I took both tests, i felt like there was a decent chance I didn't pass. Don't let how you feel dictate your study habits. you probably did better than you think you did.

The SIMS in Becker were much much easier than the actual exam.

I guess the Becker final wasn't true to me. The FAR sims I got on the actual exam were nearly impossible.
