Becker CPA Review Mock Exam Score vs Actual CPA Exam Score

I figured since so many people ask, it’d be easier to have it all in one thread for reference. Good idea?

Calculating this by taking the average MCQ*60% and average sim*40%

I always returned to this page for encouragement when taking the mocks for each section. Below are my mock and final scores for all sections–

My assumption is that taking too long on MCQs and running out of time on sims is where I went wrong. Was able to finish mock exams 45m ahead of time. Everyone said exam MCQs were much easier than Becker's MCQ, but I found the exact opposite to be true (might have been nerves, idk). Spent an hour on each exam MCQ testlet (rather than the suggested 40m) because the questions were so difficult. My guess is the strategy is to guess on however many MCQs is necessary to stay within the 40m time budget per MCQ testlet.
